Great service, food was great, small portions compared to my previous review from.similar plate at other Mexican restaurant.
Authentic Mexican food in Port Chester New York very tasty. The owner's very nice and the staff is wonderful also.
Totally authentic Mexican food, right next door to the Capitol Theater. Great staff and fun place. It’s our choice for great Mex!!
Two pitchers of margs before a concert is the way to go, food was generally alright. We got the steak salad bowl and enchiladas. Meat was cooked well but the rice and beans were a bit lacking. The free salsa and chips are delicious though! If you’re going to the capitol theatre be sure to stop by an hour or two before!
Always have a great time there my favorite food is Pork Ribs in green sauce. (Tío’s special dish) I highly Recommend this place staff is great
I have been coming here for over a decade and I am always pleased! I come into dine from time to time but mostly call in and take out. The waitress is very friendly and the food is *chef’s kiss* I highly recommend the tacos de lengua, nachos with jalapeños , and horchata.
The food is wonderful. Huge portions with amazing flavor. This is my go-to spot for both dine-in (particularly before a concert at the Capitol Theater) as well as delivery.
Best cheese enchiladas and guacamole I've ever had. I'm a vegetarian and I live in NC, and have never tasted flavors so good. Everything down here is Americanized. I will yearn for these flavors for the rest of my life. It's been a week since I was here and I can still taste it. Really good, I highly recommend.
This restaurant has been here for years! Hidden gem that you must try. Yes Mexican food is everywhere but not everyone does it right... if you aren't from the area, plan to eat here before the show at the capitol theater
I will always have so much love for this restaurant. One of the waitresses actually used to carry me around the restaurant serving tables when I was a baby. I get the same thing every time I go, which is a shrimp cocktail, then fajitas, and can’t forget the flan! The owner, Jay, is so sweet and always eager to hear about what you think of the food and the restaurant. El Tío has changed a lot since I was little, I love the new look it has now!
