Started with a basket of warm corn bread and rolls and a generous amount of whipped butter. We ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potato and slaw. Everything was delicious. The chicken was real breast meat with a very tasty white gravy which went perfectly with mashed potatoes. The slaw came out creamy and full of flavor. Just the way slaw should taste. Service started slow, but then moved to a surprisingly good pace. Great view on the outside seating watching the local boat traffic sail past us.

First time here. Husband had cheeseburger(said it was bland). He liked green beans. I had crab cake sandwich. Needed spices. Squash casserole decent. Service excellent. Ate outside waterfront-relaxing. Some at the table ordered fries, they were excellent.

Fantastic food and service!! Once again Griffin our waiter was unbelievable. Gave us VIP service with his usual positive attitude . The strip steak and pork chops were cooked perfectly. BJ's salad and dressing fantastic. Jalapeno corn bread out of this world. great food at great food. We will be back.

Always try to hit Barbara Jean's while visiting my daughter and granddaughters in Ponte Vedra. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. I especially like the Coastal Platter which is a crab cake, buttermilk battered fried shrimp and fish. Good stuff. We usually dine on the deck over the Intercoastal Waterway.

The bread selection was delicious. Our meal portion size was crazy big. Had the coastal platter and shared. Their grits are so yummy and tasty. Crab Cakes also so good. Coconut shrimp were large and so tasty good. Enjoy the pumpkin bread with butter. This place is right on water so beautiful.

Bread to start is absolutely delicious. Service was great too. Main dishes are a little average but great value for the price. The peach cobbler was amazing! Definitely a must try.

Fantastic! Every time we're in the area we make it a point to stop. Best home cooked food beside my southern mother- in- law's. I love the pumpkin bread. Husband loves the rolls. We've never eaten anything here that we didn't love.

My entire experience was completely satisfying. Great outside seating and the two dinners ordered were simply delicious. I had the NY Strip n shrimp, my wife had the crab cake dinner. The breads in the basket were delicious as well. The staff was outstanding. Highly recommend stopping here for great meal and atmosphere.
