Pompton Queen Diner

Always great food! Wednesday night and there was a 20 minute wait. (That's how great this diner is!) There were seats at the counter so we did not have to wait. Had their special Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms with Wasabi Sauce and they were amazing. Food always perfect and served hot! Staff is friendly, fast, and professional! No small wonder this diner is one of the Go-To places for Foodies around here!

I dined at the Pompton Queen this past Saturday night with my mother and uncle after attending a funeral for a close family member. We wanted to go to the diner because of fond memories we have being there years ago. We came in half an hour before closing because we were craving desert. We apologized to the waitress for arriving so close to closing, but she reassured us it was fine. The service and desert were wonderful! The waitress did not know that we were coming in after saying goodbye to a family member, but made the day end on a bright note for us. She was so kind and warm to us! She brought us an extra cookie. I couldn’t find her to tell her thank you and that she made a sad day better for us.

I want to say this diner is pretty amazing. Since moving to Virginia there's a lack of family owned diners down here. Being from NY and hanging out with friends in NJ. I definitely miss the atmosphere and food from the tristate area. That being said Pompton has really amazing proportions and the flavor is spot on. Service was great the times I have come here and always nice and courteous. I had the Penna ala Vodka with chicken and it was delicious, so delicious I couldn't finish it lol. Anyways If you're somehow near here be sure to check them out.

Pompton Queen Diner is one of the best diners in the world! The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. What more can you ask for in a top five star restaurants. I love they way the manager Tommy greets you at the door. What an amazing view of all of the cheesecakes they had for sale. I wish I could bring one home with me ! Our writer Juan was also very impressive 👏. Great job guys keep up the good work!
