I've eaten here so many times, the food is good, especially the ribs, and the cheeseburger, make sur ed you order it all the way, fast and good service, I'm from Pompano so my family and I drop by every now and then.

Quick take: Eat this food. It great. I haven't been in Pompano for a while but I used to live here before I had Urbanspoon. I'm sorry I didn't go here before. While checking out reviews I saw a lot of "the bests" listed by people that had no other BBQ places listed as like or dislike that called that place so good. I eat BBQ and a lot of other types of food. This place is among the best I've had. The sauce is more Southern then Memphis. Not too sweet and not too spicy (maybe not spicy enough). It's the same on the ribs as on the chicken. There is no pulled pork on the menu but they have burgers and other sandwiches. The Mac and Cheese is either homemade of seriously augmented. The collards are not sweet like some places and when you add vinegar are out of this world. The baked beans were the only thing I didn't like. My wife on the other hand loved them. I'm a bit of a purist so they were way too sweet for me. If you like sweet baked beans you'll love these. To me they would make an unusual but an adequate dessert. You can eat in or take out but the dining room is acousticly very loud. Block walls with a concrete floor and wooden picnic tables. The staff is very friendly, fast and efficient. So if you like really good Southern style BBQ I'd say this place is a definite YES.
A great resteraunt for the family
Great hole in the wall ! Im from california but have been in florida for 2 weeks and this has been by far one of the best places i have eaten. I got a half of a chicken which came in a dijon based bbq sauce 🔥 and a large side of mac and cheese. I also recommend to try their McMillons fruit punch. Forsure a must have again before i go home ! The gentlemen who helped us was very kind. Great place with good prices.

Check this place out if you like BBQ. The ribs and brisket were cooked perfectly! They have only one sauce and was too sweet for me hence loss of a star. Most BBQ places run out of sides as the day goes on so get here early if you want to try them. The location might not be what you are used to(no AC) but if you don't feel comfortable, get take out. The lady at the counter is sweet and friendly.

No matter how long it has been or how recent, the food is perfect every time!! The best barbecue in town! From the burgers to the chicken and everything in between, its the best affordable comfort food. If you want to indulge in great food at a great price, this is the place! I am a customer for life!!
I had a rib sandwich for only $10 even with tax included. It came with 4 piece of juicy pork ribs with more than enough BBQ sauce to spare, and two piece of texas sytle thick toast! Its more than enough to keep you full for hours! The rib dinner platter is only $11+ with 2 side like (mac n cheese, collard greens,potato salad, bakes beans, etc) Best BBQ in the world!!! Must try, one of a kind service and sauce. The sauce is the boss!!! Amazing. Best meal I've ever had & I love BBQ & have been everywhere.
Best BBQ in Florida. Sauce is one of a kind and the staff greets you with genuine Southern hospitality:) You can eat in or order to go. Smoked to perfection in a stone pit with wood. Must try!!! Absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone who likes BBQ.
Best BBQ in the area. Chicken and ribs meal is fabulous, melt in your mouth. Love the bbq sauce. Eat it on everything. Mac and cheese almost as good as mine lol. Banana pudding is awesome! Get it when you can because they sell out.
We use McMillan's BBQ to cater my father's 90th birthday and they didn't outstanding job. David McMillan and his mom were incredibly customer service oriented and the food was absolutely delicious.
Burgers and ribs are FIRE!!! My family loves this rib joint, but did I mention the burgers!! A must try! Family owned establishment and they make you feel like family!
