Miyako has always been a good Chinese/Sushi buffet for the price. On our most recent visit it seems that there has been a change for the better. The selection and quality of the Sushi has increased greatly, the rolls use to be just your old run of the mill rolls you could order at any sushi place but on our recent visit they had a much larger and unique variety of rolls. A couple of my favorites were the ones with fruits such as strawberries and mango. One of them was drizzled with a sweet white cream sauce.
Another thing I’ve always enjoyed about the sushi buffet is that almost all of the rolls have been labeled with the ingredients so that customers know what they are eating. Also in this visit the service we received was exceptional, whenever we were finished with a plate it was removed from our table quickly and they always noticed when our drinks were low so that we never had to wait for a refill.
It also felt like the inside of the restaurant had been updated and it was much cleaner than before, it is a place I will look forward to returning to.
Everything was fresh, presentation was not lost, and the lines were continuously attended to by the staff. The sushi was exceptional and I personally enjoyed many of the fresh shell fish varieties and salads. Kudos on having jalapeno and soy sauce dip! Loved the heat!
The food was great. i was in the area for my sisters wedding and needed a quick bite to eat... fortunately enough i stumbled across this place. Good for family and friends!
This is by far the best Asian Buffet I have ever been too. Cleanest Restaurant I have ever walked into. The best selection of HOT FRESH food. Just a wonderful evening from start to finish. Can't wait to return. Thanks to all.

Family of 4 was only $109... All server have great customer service. Except manager on duty, we had a small incident and she was kind of rude, but other than that everything Good...

I went there for the first time because my husband loves sushi..The place was packed for a Thursday Night ..I was very impressed ..We both enjoyed the food, it was very fresh, the place was clean and owners was friendly. I love this place ..

Been going for about a year and half now. I used to go to other places in the area, but once this opened, I was hooked! Comparable prices to all the other buffets, but food quality and selection is superior here! My friends and I like to come here all the time whether it be lunch or dinner.

The seafood was so fresh and prepared very well. I was impressed and we certainly ate more than our money's worth. The oysters and crab legs were so good. Def not a typical buffet.
Probably the next Japanese buffet I ever had in my life. Kind of a little bit pricey but really worth it.

I am very skeptical about buffet sushi but this place for sure has great quality of sushi and fresh fish. They have a lot to offer, variety of rolls, oysters, crab legs and some great hot food options. I wouldn't recommend getting any meat as it is usually rubbery and very hard to chew. I've been here a couple of times now and my only complaint would be the service is inconsistent. Sometimes the host is rude, sometimes she is nice and the servers seem they are always trying to rush you out. I think they need better organization and communication skills between their staff. Other then that, it is a great place, very clean and delicious sushi! My favorite is the Salmon Skin roll ☺️
There's not too much you could say about a buffet. The service and the atmosphere are exactly what you expect from a buffet restaurant. However, where this place shines is the food is really fresh, it is presented well, it has a huge variety and there was nothing on my plate that I did not like. Everything was well cooked, well made, and overall we really enjoyed our lunch.
The variety consists of a ton of sushi choices, Chinese hot choices, salads, desserts, and even a stir fry station where you can pick your own proteins and vegetables and they will cook it up for you.
If you are hungry and want quality buffet food, This is a good choice.

This is my go-to Buffet Place. Awesome Atmosphere, Flavorful Food, Savory Sushi/Sashimi. They set the bar that most buffets fail to reach. The only downside if there is one is the wait to go in, but the food makes it more than worth it.
All you can eat, and they have many options, best buffet sushi bar around (to many options to list and great quality) with a lot of dipping sauces to choose from, cold salads, snow crab legs (at every dinner), fresh shucked oysters, hot foods, and a small hibachi selection. Do yourself a favor and try both the Green Tea and the Red Bean Ice cream a shot I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I highly recommend going with family or friends who have similar food tastes as you do, however due to the price I would not recommend kids if they are picky eaters. While this may cost more than other local buffets the quality of the food is the reason why.
There is a reason why this place has received a 5-star rating from me, I eat here weekly, and it is the same quality every time.
As a final note I can’t stress enough to get in the line for opening time or there will be an hour and half wait to get in on the weekends and even the normal weekdays the wait can be a little tedious, but they still serve the same weekend dinner options.
Also look at the circulars in your mailbox I often find 10% coupons from them.
Good place for 30 bucks. Quality is good and food is fresh. Deserts can be improved for something more tasty and homemade.
Service is fast and efficient. The place is huge and there is always people. Easy to park in the area.
This is a wonderfully clean and well organized buffet. There are lots of variety of sushi rolls , sushi, sashimi to choose from. All are made fresh at the bar. There is cocktail shrimp and crab legs as well. There is a nice dessert bar with fresh fruits. The service is so good, they come to remove your empty plates immediately and refill your water. I would return again and perhaps try the hibachi section next time. Price is reasonable for the food included.

My girlfriend and I have had the pleasure of dining at Miyako Japanese Buffet in Pompano Beach several times, and every visit has been an absolute delight!

My first time coming here and I was impressed, the sushi was fresh and delicious, they had other cooked food and hibachi but I was there for a sushi craving. So many different types and flavors of sushi, I was like a kid in a candy store. Our server got our drink order right away and always kept our drinks refilled and our table free of used plates. The price was great for the amount of sushi I had, what a deal. The atmosphere was nice and clean. I was there for dinner and it was really busy, but they kept refilling the food at a rapid pace so there was no wait for food. I definitely will be back soon!
This is the best all you can eat sushi place in town! Highly recommend! They also have a hibachi grill and so many other Asian favorites! One of my favorite places to go eat for lunch and dinner!

Best sushi in Pompano Beach and you can eat as much as you want! :) They also have spectacular crab legs, New York strip steak, soup and desserts.

Heading home from vacation and was looking for a sushi buffet and this place did NOT DISAPPOINT! I was so impressed with the quality/freshness, service, and variety of options. Highly recommend!
Absolutely the best selection of sushi. We thought the location in Miami near our home was delicious, until we tried it here. They exceeded our expectation. We appreciate the variety of salmon tataki they offer and how they are able to incorporate different flavors in each roll. Comparatively, the other location has different rolls but because they use the same or similar ingredients the different rolls tend to taste the same. The hot entrees at this location are tasty too. We favor the sushi but they were serving steak one night that I had to try and was surprised at how juicy and soft it tasted.

We came here for dinner and the place was well lit, clean, the food looked fresh and it was tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ate so much food. They have a sushi station with a great selection. We will definitely be back.
They not only have unlimited sushi, but a fabulous selection of hot food. The desserts were ok.
