Miyako Japanese Buffet

My girlfriend and I have had the pleasure of dining at Miyako Japanese Buffet in Pompano Beach several times, and every visit has been an absolute delight! One of the standout features of this gem is its accessibility. Unlike some crowded dining spots, Miyako is always easily accessible and never overwhelmingly packed. This makes for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience every time we walk in. Now, let's talk about the food – it's simply fantastic! The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every dish. Whether you're a fan of sushi, sashimi, or hibachi, Miyako has got you covered with a wide variety of choices. The fact that the food is consistently delicious is a testament to the care and attention put into each dish. The service is another highlight. The staff at Miyako are not only friendly but also incredibly prompt and attentive. They make sure you have everything you need to fully savor your dining experience. Miyako Japanese Buffet has truly become our little Pompano Beach treasure. It's a place we look forward to visiting every time we're in town. There's not too much you could say about a buffet. The service and the atmosphere are exactly what you expect from a buffet restaurant. However, where this place shines is the food is really fresh, it is presented well, it has a huge variety and there was nothing on my plate that I did not like. Everything was well cooked, well made, and overall we really enjoyed our lunch. The variety consists of a ton of sushi choices, Chinese hot choices, salads, desserts, and even a stir fry station where you can pick your own proteins and vegetables and they will cook it up for you. If you are hungry and want quality buffet food, This is a good choice.

My first time coming here and I was impressed, the sushi was fresh and delicious, they had other cooked food and hibachi but I was there for a sushi craving. So many different types and flavors of sushi, I was like a kid in a candy store. Our server got our drink order right away and always kept our drinks refilled and our table free of used plates. The price was great for the amount of sushi I had, what a deal. The atmosphere was nice and clean. I was there for dinner and it was really busy, but they kept refilling the food at a rapid pace so there was no wait for food. I definitely will be back soon!

Absolutely the best selection of sushi. We thought the location in Miami near our home was delicious, until we tried it here. They exceeded our expectation. We appreciate the variety of salmon tataki they offer and how they are able to incorporate different flavors in each roll. Comparatively, the other location has different rolls but because they use the same or similar ingredients the different rolls tend to taste the same. The hot entrees at this location are tasty too. We favor the sushi but they were serving steak one night that I had to try and was surprised at how juicy and soft it tasted.
