Great restaurant. The ambiance was awesome, the service was some of the best I’ve ever received, and we enjoyed our food! Open kitchen concept which was nice and the BYOB part is an added bonus. Forgot to get pictures when the food came out. The Jimmy Salad is great and very big, enough to share with at least 4 people, or bring home the extra !
I was looking for a vegan pizza place near me and I found this place. There isn't many vegan pizzerias in the area and I think I found an amazing new place. When ordering the lady on the phone was very nice. I ordered a a vegan plain small pie and my boyfriend and his family ordered a half meatball and half plain. They said it was very good and finished it all. For one large pie and one small vegan it was $32, honestly not bad at all. Considering covid-19 I liked to see when we pulled up they delivered it to our car and had a mask and gloves one. Definitely recommend giving it a try! Definitely will be back!!
Damn this was good! Just finished had one of the best Saltimbocca I've had in years. Came for a Christmas Eve family dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the experience would definitely recommend.
The New Coal House Bistro is amazing. Fresh food all made in house by a well know Jersey Shore Chef. Service is attentive, happy and knowledgeable. Perfect upscale, affordable, family friendly Italian Bistro!! We made reservations ahead of time and had Chef Jimmy Vena's Shrimp ala James, Tuscany Antipasto, Deconstructed Cannoli and Key Lime Cake. The Chef let us sample his classic Italian Gravy which was out of this world!!
Friendly spot to grab pizza. Feels like a real family operation. The pizza was tasty but I thought the bottom could be crispier. The house salad app was also real good. I will be back.
At Cheers everybody knew your name. At Coal House Bistro, everybody knows Frank. Great food every time you go. You almost feel bad eating everything on your plate, because you will wish you saved some for the next day.

The host made us feel welcomed our server an extremely nice young lady gave us top service and the food was beyond delicious from appetizers to dessert. The chef came over and introduced himself and made sure we were enjoying our food.

I went with a bunch of friends tonight and was really impressed. Salads were fresh, pizza was crisp and tasty, and we treated ourselves to the dessert pizza which was delicious and light after a meal. You can tell that they use fresh and quality ingredients... that is the difference here. Great job! I am sure I will be back!
Absolutely delicious, the devil's food cake and ice cream roll was so tasty. Our meals were filled with flavour. A great date spot and for family. Excellent service, they were so kind and helpful. We brought our munchkin for his birthday and he had a great night.
Went there recently with a party of 4 adults and 3 kids between the ages of 5 - 10. We are NY'ers with a summer home in Pt Pleasant and always on the lookout for a Pt Pleasant pizzeria that we can call home during the summertime.
The service was excellent, very helpful and accommodating as was the manager/owner who was on hand saying hello to everyone and making sure everything was okay. We had 3 pies, a regular, a veggie and a sausage. Put it this way, even the kids LOVED it. When it comes out of the oven it is just fantastic.
The combination of great food (which is always the 1st priority) and then great service and a welcoming friendly atmosphere equals a great dining experience that I would recommend to any pizza lover. This is the place I will be ordering from any time we are in Pt Pleasant. Enjoy...
