Went a few weeks ago and the food was awesome. I was pretty excited to eat here again for my birthday. Ordered food to pick up and I was so disappointed. I ordered a club both times and the last time I went (dine in arpund 8pm) it was awesome. When I got my food to go was a different story. It looks like a school lunch sandwich with two slices of cheap deli meat and what could be a kraft single slice of cheese. As well as one shriveled piece of bacon. Definitely not worth $10.

This is a great local place to eat. The food is good and the beer is cold. In the warmer weather you should go have a few beers on the patio with some friends.
The Sand Trap should be a on your list of places to stop. Did I mention that the staff has always been top notch? Chris was our server today and she was exceptional. 👍🏼

Really disappointed. Was told this was a great place. Ordered the Par Burger and the Double Western. It took 45 minutes to get our food at 1pm on a Thursday. The burgers were Luke warm but the tater tots were hot. When biting into the burger, neither was cooked all the way through. I'm talking 2 half pound patties not cooked. On both burgers. The waiter never came back to check on us so we were unable to let him know. Just seems like a huge waste of food and a waste of time. Won't be coming back.

They were out of a couple things but the drinks were STRONG, the beer was cold and the staff was amazing. Burgers were great and so was the steak. I’d easily come back here anytime I’m in town. Worth the stop if you’re driving through. Ate the food before I got photos. Ooops

The guy who waited on our table and mixed up my drink was phenomenal. Not afraid to pour a strong drink. Dinner was great, the Idaho nachos Or a 10 out of 10

Honestly I really didn't like the food at all. I'm not clocking on the service. Our server was great! Heard lots of good things from others & was bummed out it was off tasting food.
Unfortunate update from my bathroom: I will not be eating there again my gut says no 👎

Waitress was so nice even though the place was crowded. Great food I ordered the buffalo chicken salad (actual salad, not mayo salad) it was delicious. Friends ordered the veggie burger which was delicious as well. Now I understand why they are always busy.

Awesome spot with great drinks and food! Super impressed with the steak, jalapeño poppers, and service here. Cool atmosphere supporting all the outdoor activities Pocatello had to offer!
