Jakers Bar & Grill

Ok so we tried Jakers a couple of months ago and thought we would wait and try it again and see if the results were the same…drum roll please. Yes it was the same but better. So here is why: 1. The host remembered us and our preference for seating. 2. The food was just as good. 3. The service was outstanding and prompt even from those that were not our server. Asked for some butter and she said no problem and got it even tho she probably had other customers to wait on. 4. Cleanliness was was above par. Bathroom and Kitchen areas. 5. Friendliness was outstanding. I love when staff is glad to see you and you and it doesn’t come off as fake or pressured. A smile for a smile. Vets they do offer a Discount with ID. This is a must try. I love local businesses and not just the chains. Love to support our communities.

My martini was the bomb!!! Like the biggest bomb-digity!! It was like little explosions of sweet huckleberries bursting on my tongue and tart little lemon drops singing "hallelujah" in my mouth! Yum! Amazing service! Even with larger parties. We had 9 people, half of them kids, and they didn't even blink an eye at it. They were welcoming, helpful, and super on top of their game! The food was fantastic! They even have a designated GLUTEN FREE menu!! We loved our experience and look forward to coming back again!

Take out order was complete mess. Food soggy. Pizza stacked on top of each other jammed in to go big made for a mushy pizza sandwich. No lid on appetizer, which I think is how rest of food and take out bag got saturated. The kicker here is in trying to make things better for the next person, I dm’d this place to give them feedback so I didn’t have to resort to a bad review. I don’t want free meal during next visit or any of that handout fix. I only want a piece of mind that my review will better the next person. Their GM asked for my contact to reach out to me….crickets. I responded several times and still no response. It is clear they (he/she) doesn’t value my experience enough to better their product and service. I’m hoping this GM will figure out customer service and represent the owners better in the future.

This place was amazing 😍 our server was so sweet! We got the "steak strips" appetizer. They where SO tender. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was amazing. The crispy chicken sandwich was, so so. The chicken was so heavily battered it fell off and I only ate the chicken after the breading was removed. Fries and onion ring were great also.

Server was exceptional. They are only getting a 5 because of the fantastic server, Felicia. There was a piece of plastic waste in our water. They did give us 10% off for the incident. Have had problems before and they always try to make it right. I enjoyed a gluten-free bacon cheese burger. They do charge $2 extra for the bun I said no mayo but still got some type of sauce. Wasn't too bad. Partner did the soup and salad special but it's an extra $2 if you want clam chowder which is a Friday standard soup elsewhere and no refills on special soup choices, for an extra $2, he could have had one strawberry added to his salad. The last time he did try it but had less than a full strawberry. That's just crazy and not worth it.

Went just because it was by the hotel. Drinks were nice and strong and the food exceeded my expectations. If was a local place for me, I would frequent the establishment. Service was top notch as well. I wish I could comment on the dessert, but I felt 9 months pregnant rolling out of there because the food was so good. Highly recommended this for a delicious meal.
