Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Excellent service. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. The manager even went around to visit with the regulars and see if everyone was doing well. The portion was good. I ordered the lunch duo of 1/2 BLT and the tomato basil soup. The soup was fantastic. Great flavor as well as texture. Lunch was under $10.

First time at a Perkin's, and it was a great experience! We had a wonderful waitress, and we were able to meet with one of the managers white we ate, very nice guy. We had a group of 12 (6 kids) and they were very accommodating. You can tell they like having big families there. They even put us in our own room (probably so we wouldn't bother anyone 🤣). I had the biscuits and gravy meal, which comes with sausage patties, bacon, two eggs, and breakfast potatoes. It was a very good dinner style meal. I would recommend getting an extra side of gravy. I also tried a couple of fried pickles and they were really good also. All in all, great family diner to visit.

Perkins was a family favorite for me and my family. So after we escaped the madness of the fifty fans blowing in our home. We moved to a nearby hotel and ordered delivery. This went terribly wrong. I was called a liar about buying a pie and door dash was called a thief. No apology apology when I got dressed and went there to show them the receipt showing that I did purchase the pie. I’ve posted pictures underneath in captions I’ve told the story about what happened in my case. I miss the old Perkins. Did the owners sell? They lived up near me. On the same street just a couple of houses in between and they were the first neighbors to welcome us to the neighborhood, and they brought us a treat from Perkins. Oh, the good oldies. I miss you.

We came for a late lunch after my daughter's basketball tournament. After chatting with us, the host found out that her team won the Championship game and once our meal was over he brought her a delicious chocolate chip cookie to congratulate her. He was so nice! The food was excellent and the service was great!

We did not have a good experience at this Perkins. It was just 2 of us and we got seated pretty quickly (within 5 min). Our waitress came within 10 min to take our order at which point it had been long enough to know what we wanted to drink and eat, so we did both at the same time. At this point a group of 17 were seated. We got our drinks and then... we did not see our waitress again for 40 min. In the meantime we watched as the group of 17 got all their food (they were seated a good 10-15 min after we were). Our food yet to come. Then another group of 4 that were seated a good 20 minutes after us got their food. When the waitress did finally walk by our table to deliver food to another table, she let us know that ours would be up soon....Since they had already wasted over an hour of our time, we decided to just leave and not give this place our money. I'm sure under different circumstances (no group of 17, different waitress, etc.) maybe this place would good, but not for us.
