My husband & I lived there a little over 4 years, we moved out Fall 2020 to be closer to family & I MISS this place! We had a one bedroom apartment, the w/d in the unit is a huge plus, all of the other complexes in Conshy charged extra for that amenity if it was even an option. Monthly price was very reasonable, they raised it by $10/20 each year, I think it was $1,120 when we left. Advance notice provided for inspections or routine maintenance. We always felt safe, I never felt unsafe or uneasy when jogging alone during day or night. There isn't a gym so you'll have to get a membership, Superfit was $15/month at the time & right down the street so that worked fine. Maintenance addressed ALL of our work orders (we only had a handful the whole 4 years) right away & during business hours. Bugs weren't really an issue, there were a couple times when ants would get in the kitchen, but a few ant traps took care of that quickly. It was quiet, and everyone was either friendly or just kept to themselves & respected your privacy. The application fee was $100, with no security deposit, we needed every cent at the time, so that was a huge plus. The lady in the Main Office was always nice whenever we needed to talk to her. There wasn't an option to pay rent online, so you need to drop off your check at the office or slip in the mail slot thru the door.

Wish I could give 10 stars. The best budget complex ever. Period. Unbeatable prices, amazing maintenance staff. Yes the building is old and yes sh*t will break, but they will fix it within 24 hours. I will miss this complex so much. Donna at the office is a champion!

Love this apartment! Best prices in conshohocken and the staff is so quick to reply/bring maintenance to fix any problem. Always so helpful. If this complex was smack in the middle of Conshy it would be the best in the whole town!

Lived at Plymouth Gardens for a bit over three years. Would recommend! LEASING OFFICE: Management was always helpful and maintenance requests were addressed pretty quickly -- they usually came to address it within the same day of putting in the request, if not, definitely within 24 hours. The leasing office handled COVID-19 pretty well too. They cleaned the hallways more and were pretty clear in their communications with any changes. Only negative is that there's no online portal or anything. You have to pay with personal checks and take it to the leasing office and you have to call for maintenance requests. But, again, they're very helpful and responsive so it's not that much of a hassle. (Special shout out to Tina -- She's amazing!) VALUE: Pretty spacious units, at least in comparison to the places I lived in prior to Conshy in KOP. The price is good for what you're getting and there's lots to do in the area (outside of COVID). During my time there, there were minor price increases following the end of my lease to renew, but it was under $100/month and not too significant (first year was just a $25/mo increase). Still a great cost for the area, which is great to get into the city. Multiple train stations nearby that I used regularly. AMENITIES: There was a pool, but honestly, that's probably another negative. Hours were inconvenient to my 9-5 schedule and weekends fluctuated, but if we're all in a virtual environment, I guess that won't matter as much. Parking was great -- the lot is pretty spacious and they always did a good job taking care of the snow. Just watch out for some of the trees because they have A LOT of sap that'll wreck your car if you park there long enough. Lots of room for you and visitors. To anyone complaining, if there wasn't a spot open near my door, that meant I had to walk maybe 10 parking spaces farther away... So it's not as bad as others are making it seem. Packages were hit or miss, but that's at no fault of the management since they ask that you have packages delivered to the leasing office (not sure if anyone does that). My packages were always either under my mailbox or at my door. I noticed some neighbors would have packages laying around their door for awhile, but their units had multiple entrances, so I'm assuming they have more trouble keeping up with that. Washer/Dryer was definitely bothersome. I had a unit with it included, which I don't recommend unless they get new machines. They were super small and you could only run one at a time (if your washer was running, you couldn't put clothes in your dryer). If I knew that was going to be the case, I would have gotten a cheaper unit without it and just used the shared laundry space. The courtyard areas were really nice. Extra plus -- You get a free storage unit! NOISE: Walls were surprisingly really good with sound, and I say this having maybe three different neighbors throughout my time there. Overall neighborhood is great as well. Pay attention to whether your unit is facing a courtyard though. This will increase noise levels a bit. OTHER: It might have just been my unit, but my place was HOT! I think I was under the laundry room and above the boilers, plus the huge bay windows in the living room didn't help, but it was HOT HOT HOT! AC units can only do so much without hiking up my electricity bill. I found myself using it until October! The heat is free since it's gas and included which is nice, but the air was always so dry. Definitely invest in a good humidifier. Last note -- critters. I'm convinced it was because of my new neighbors because my second year there, I had a mouse in my place. They came over and put up that sticky paper and some old-school mouse traps. It never worked and I just kept my place a bit colder in the winter to keep it away. I'd imagine any other complex would have taken the same unhelpful measures. Bug sightings were just as any other place in MontCo. OVERALL: YES! Stay there! I moved only to be in the city. Great location, great value and great service.

Gets the job done. The apartments are good for the price (which is pretty low comparably). Nothing fancy but it is what you make it. Management was responsive when needed.

This apartment complex is perfect for the 26 year old young professional (ie me). They have onsite maintenance that actually responds - my garbage disposal was clogged, I called it in, someone immediately came over and it was fixed within the hour. My unit (two bed room, one bath, second floor) has an in-unit washer and dryer, dish washer, microwave, AC units and ceiling fans in every room with faders, and even a fancy-pants tanning light in the bathroom. The apartment also comes with a storage unit down the hall. My unit is huge and i can afford it by myself - its a great price for the location its in. Plus all utilities are included except for electricity and cable - which is great because the place has gas heat, stove, and water heater. Conshohocken is such a great town and bars and restaurants are within walking distance, no city wage tax, super safe (they have a security car that circles the complex every night and its a block away from the police station). Tons of shopping 5 minutes away - everything you need. Oh...did i mention the pool? there's a very clean, very well taken care of pool that you get free access to. Lots of spontaneous BBQs and a nice place to entertain your friends or meet new ones ;). The staff is really friendly and helpful - just don't be an idiot, be courteous to the staff, do what you are supposed to, read and hold up your end of the lease, and you won't have any problems. The property is really taken care of. Downsides - well the neighborhood is filled with young couples with kids - which sounds nice, but there are some drawbacks that are kind of just from personal preference. A) there are TONS of kids... its not terrible, just a little noisy sometimes in the afternoon. B) Young couples means multiple cars per household meaning parking is kind of a pain. If you get home past 6pm on a weekday - you're going to have to circle a few times or park alllll the way on the opposite side of the complex for a spot - again, not terrible, but kind of a pain after a long day at work. But that's pretty much it - i'm very happy here and plan to stay for at least a few years.
