We. Love. Fiesta!! My husband and I come here regularly! .. almost too much. This is hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Des Moines area! The flavors are so much better than anywhere else! I can honestly say I haven’t had a bad item from the menu. We always get great service too!
Our favorites are Choripollo, fajitas, enchiladas, and grilled chicken or shrimp tacos!

Family decided to try out this restaurant for the first time, we aren’t from around here but it caught our eye. Restaurant is very nice I enjoyed the scenery and the decor. Everything was fine until we got out food. The food was amazing but what came afterwards was very unpleasant. Cockroaches came down from the wall on to our table, we discussed the matter with the waiter, then proceed to leave the restaurant. The roach infestation goes against OSHA and HHS regulations. It was very disappointing. Definitely will not be returning.

I have loved this place for so many years but today I was so disappointed! I have been ordering the shrimp cocktail for years! They have reduced the amount of shrimp and completely left out the avocado. And the price went up! When I called, it was too bad. They said they always put in 12 shrimp… well if true the size of the shrimp is so much smaller it doesn’t work. So I ended up with a large bowl of sauce & veggies. Off to the store to buy shrimp and avocado so this is eatible.
And before someone says the food costs have gone up… I wasn’t complaining about the 18.00 cost… just the cost of want I received. And I supported this business during the pandemic! Sad!!!
The 3 stars are for the quality of the food in the past!

Great service. Every server is on top of their work, and very friendly. The good was tasty too, but my only complaint was the horchata; which tasted more like pina colada mix than a cinnamon-spiced rice-milk beverage.

Great service! I had chicken fajitas with added zucchini and could only eat half. The portions are fantastic for the price. Not overly seasoned, just a little heavy on the salt. Still delicious!

Most of the meal was ok. However the refried beans just tasted different and the whole beans were burnt. The pico de gallo was old and squishy just looked wilted and unapplealing. The guacamole was excellent! The fish ceviche would have been great is the pico in it was fresh. Hubby had the fajitas which were good except for the beans and pico. My Adult Son had the Tacos. He didn't eat because they put too much filling in the tacos and they fell apart, plus his beans were burnt. My daughter had the quesadilla with chicken. She loved it. The salsa was really good, that came with the chips. Overall it was ok, my son went away hungry. I'd go back only for chips and guacamole, not a meal.

I ate dinner here when my wife & I visited family. We dined on a Friday night and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving.
This is our family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in town! They are correct for thinking that. Between the delicious food and great atmosphere, we had a great time! The waiter was helpful and patient when we made our decision. The food was so filling that my wife & I had leftovers to take back to the hotel.
We’ll definitely stop here again when we’re back in town!
