Been a loyal customer for years. Employees remember my name when I come in. 5th Ave was my Dads favorite sandwich- and I follow in his footsteps. Highly recommend! The owner, Tad is a great businessman and treats his employees and customers well. He is well known and liked in the community. Appreciate having a good sandwich shop like Gandolfo’s.

Overall, there aren't many options I want here after trying. Except one: the Huevos Locos is a poppy seed bun laden with eggs, sausage, roasted green peppers, and salsa. I eat it several times a week. Five stars for just that sandwich.
I have come to this location as well as others and I can confidently say its my favorite sandwich shop. In the mornings the breakfast sandwiches are to die for with huge portions, for lunch I like to get the Brooklyn Bridge and have never been dissapointed. Aidan was a friendly and helpful and took my order quickly.
The Gandolfo's team is always friendly and quick to help when you walk up to the counter. The bread always tastes fresh and they serve what they advertise. I would recommend this over Subway any day. Sorry Subway, your sandwiches are good, but Gandolfo's beats you by a mile.
When you come to Utah, you get Gandolfo's. Excellent NY deli style sandwich shop, and the best breakfast sandwiches you'll have. This is the double play. Sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, American cheese, butter, S&P, on a fresh made kaiser. The Pleasant Grove location is inside the 7-11, and a favorite stop for all the construction crews and police. There's several booths to sit at, and its a very local spot. It's a great morning hangout for coffee and breakfast. This is my 3rd time here on this trip, but being half a mile away it's an easy choice. Yes, Gandolfo's is Maloy Approved.
Breakfast served all day. It is a about 5-6$ for each sandwich. They also have polish and all beef hot dogs. Overall great quality, I've had one bad experience with a slightly under cooked egg out of the 13+ times I've been here.
This is always a solid stop for a great breakfast sandwich. My personal favorite is a Manorville and then I had Ham. But if your hungry get the crew

Gandolfo's is exactly what you'd want from a NY style sandwich place. They have good food and the person taking your order feels like he's been pulled from the mean streets of New York City. Attitude and all. Now, hold on Suzanne, I'm not saying they're rude. I'm saying that they specifically hire people with a bit of a rough side to really fulfill that NY sammy shop. You pickin' up what I'm putting down here, Suzy?
I have gone to Gandalf’s for years and have loved my experience every time. I can’t stand going to any other place for my sandwich needs. Eating at subway feels like a betrayal. 1000% recommend. The crew is the life blood of the breakfast sandwiches.
