Duke's Diner has one of my favorite sandwiches, a triple decker Reuben made with real slabs of corned beef. Their onion rings are always jumbo, crispy, and delicious. The salads we have gotten there have been some of the best we've gotten in town for lunch; the portion is large and the ingredients are always fresh and well prepared. There is limited parking as well as limited open hours and some of the prices are a little bit higher than other similar restaurants, but the food is extra tasty and the staff is pleasant.

Nice little diner in a good neighborhood. My only main complaint is the corn beef hash is from a can. Maybe I've been spoiled by real corn beef hash, but it was a bummer to see the canned stuff on my plate. The dish was still good! Don't get me wrong, the rest of the food was good just wasn't expecting canned from a diner especially with other local diners offering real corn beef hash. Service was also great.

Since moving to Plattsburgh in December I have been searching for a good breakfast restaurant. I believe I finally found it. It's surprising to find how many restaurants in the area don't know how to cook an over medium egg or they're cooking causes intestinal distress. Dukes diner is absolutely perfect. Friendly wait staff and the cook knows how to make a medium egg. Bonus!

Best chili cheese fries I've managed to find in town. Also one of the best burgers in town. One of my co-workers recommended I try it, and now I just keep coming back.

The food was really great, but I had the unfortunate experience of glancing into the kitchen on my way to the restroom, and YIKES. This guy had better pray a health inspector doesn't pop by for a surprise visit.

It's awesome diner, if you are in Plattsburgh I would recommend you to have breakfast and lunch here. There are variety of things, I tried Chicken Fajita Omelet, Florentin Benedict and chocolate pancakes. It was delicious and I was fool, service is also awesome but I did wait for sometime.

Best home fries I've ever had. Glad to support a local business. Take a few minutes off the highway and enjoy this gem when you're in or passing by. Highly recommended.
