I was surprisingly pleased with the immediate service, the quality of the food and the freshness of items on the Menu. The lady seating me and waiting on me was full of details on the items on the menu and very prompt on listening to my Order and repeating it to me to insure that we were on the same page. I could have gone to another chain restaurant but my experience with the majority of them left a lot to be desired! My Food was very well prepared and their was plenty of it. Their prices are highly competitive and again the combination of quality Food and Service couldn't be beat. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!
Wonderful family diner in historic downtown Plant City! We had breakfast which was delicious. Good prices and ample portions of cooked to order food. Very attentive staff. Extensive comfort food lunch and dinner menu.
We were there in the early afternoon and wanted breakfast; our understanding was that they served breakfast all day but the cook said he didnt want to make breakfast since he wasnt the breakfast cook.
This could have just been a misunderstanding since the menu does not specify breakfast hours and the menu may be limited due to the recession we're all facing. However this is still excellent home style cooking the way it should be done.
Regarding food - two words; chicken livers. I'd like to give 4 1/2 stars but since it's not possible I'll round up to 5 for a delightful old time experience.
I just love this old hole in the wall restaurant. Lovely waitresses, good down to earth food with large portions. Good prices. The fish sandwich was huge. Although they no longer have a salad bar, for a couple of dollars you can add it to your meal and you tell them what you want and they bring you a plateful of freshly made salads and food. Great place
The salad bar selections have a lot of flavor. I also had black eyed peas, rutabagas and corn bread which is good if you are looking for a good vegan meal at this restaurant.
The food was amazing. A real home cooked meal without dirtying a single dish.
This place is AMAZING!!! Snells is a cute little country diner and has great service. There portions are huge, and the food is incredible. My family have been going here for lunch for a very long time now, and today we went for breakfast for the first time. We were very pleasantly surprised, pancakes were very fluffy and not dense at all, and the home fries were NOT greasy or salty, and nice and crispy. Mom said that their omelets were the best she had ever had. Coffee is great to if you like strong(but not bitter) coffee. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
