Captain D's

I haven't had Captain D's in a very long time. So I drove to Plano and let me tell you the food was great the cashier was awesome. I purchased the seafood sampler with a order of grilled shrimp. The sampler comes with shrimps, chicken, fish, and two sides of your choice. The price is $9.99 plus tax. Everything was hot and fresh.

I went in to request a refund after being informed by a customer service provider over the phone to come into the store. When I arrived at the store and spoke to the manager on duty, I was informed that she was putting herself on the line to provide me with a refund and she would instead have to offer me a meal instead. I explained to her that I would prefer a refund as I don’t like the food selection of white fish. She began to argue with me. I told her that I would prefer to leave and that Captain D’s has loss a valuable customer. The service is dissatisfying and the customer service providers are very rude, impolite, and unwilling to accommodate customers.

My husband and I love this place, I always get the Lemon Pepper white fish with steamed broccoli and the green beans. It may take 5 to 10 minutes (depending on how busy it is),for our meals to come out but totally worth it. The quality of food is great for the price, it really can’t be beat to me. The staff is always respectful to us and happy to serve. The bathrooms are always cleaned and ready for the next person to use it. The building itself is in great standing and doesn’t look overran or not kept up with. I love that they always play classic oldies music here that any aged person can listen to. Keep up the good work here you all. 👍🏻💯

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for the longest time,based on the lauding reviews. I have to say the food was “okay ”,not particularly great or memorable. Aside from their sides and sauces,the fish was “meh” as well as the shrimp . I’m not a huge fan of crunchy meats,I much rather it be tender and not flaky. Also the wait is longer than average,but this could probably had something to do with how well the food is prepared. As fast as the prices,they are fairly expensive but that’s seafood in general. Will I return? More in likely no for all what was stated above. Customer service was good though,it had a very welcoming staff and a great atmosphere to dine in.

I GOT FOOD POISONING At 6:04PM on the 4th day of May. I ate lemon pepper salmon, broccoli and coleslaw. At 7:45 I told my girlfriend we needed to go home I'm not feeling good. On the way home I told her I feel like I've eaten a pound of Grease. At 8:04 I STARTED THROWING UP. ABOUT EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR. I CALLED AN AMBULANCE at 9:30 AND THEY SAID I HAD FOOD POISON. I THREW UP AND GOT NO SLEEP. AT 2:05 AM I threw up and had diarrhea, every hour till 5:05 a.m. finally got some sleep. Woke up at 8:30 stayed in bed till. 11:00 a.m. got up walked around and sat down with a rolling stomach. Coffee make me want to throw up after two sips. Have been sipping water since. Throwing up 10 times and diarrhea four times. Then having to clean up diarrhea and throw up. Call the store manager didn't seem to care.
