Having lived in Germany and visited Greece several times, I know what authentic gyros are, and the ones they serve here are authentic and delicious. The biggest difference between gyros bought at a roadside stand in Mykonos and these is that these are at least twice the size. Soft pita bread, perfectly spiced lamb, and terrific homemade tzaziki, combined with possibly the best french fries in Plano, make for a wonderful (and very filling) meal.
Great for neighborhood Italian or Greek! Had the spanakopita there last night, and while it seemed a tad salty, it was absolutely delicious! The meal came with a side of yummy rigatoni and a few pieces of broccoli. Just a perfect little meal after indulging a couple of pieces of the complimentary french bread slices and tomato sauce. Also stole a piece of meat and dill sauce from my aunt's gyro and it was delicious as well! My mother eats here at least twice a month and always enjoys it. Great little family-friendly BYOW place in Plano.
This Restaurant is CLOSED!!
I have enjoyed this Restaurant for many years, as my family has enjoyed the 1 mile walk to the restaurant for both lunch and dinner, and the ability to sit outside with our dog. My wife loved their Gyro's, and I enjoyed the Spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce. I don't know when they closed, but I stopped by for lunch on 9/5/2013 and there is not furniture outside, or inside, and there is a "Available for Lease" sign on the window.
Gyros are the best!!!!!! So fresh and delicious but the Dolmas... TO DIE FOR! The Italian food is very good too.
This restaurant always delivers excellent experience!
