Stir Cafe

Have visited a friend who works in building so haven’t eaten at Stir twice . When you spend 20 dollars for a LUNCH , you should not have to get up and “ borrow “ a salt shaker from the staff or cashier ! Really ? Put the paper packets of salt and pepper on the table if you’re too cheap to have shakers . And for the cashier to randomly walk around and tell people to “ bus their own table “ Yeah , never going back again . Way too expensive when they operate like a grade school cafeteria with mean lunch lady but at high prices !

Rude service, over-charged, and mediocre food. Avoid this place if you can. I was visiting from a nearby office park and arrived at Stir with excitement. This cafe appeared to be an aesthetically pleasing above average corporate campus cafe. I ordered the American bowl with chicken. When I received my food, I noticed they forgot the chicken so I went back and asked for the chicken. Annoyed by my request, the server said that she didn't remember me asking for chicken and then a very aggressive cashier got in on the action saying that "this is one of our vegetarian bowls and chicken is $5 extra". I'm perfectly ok with paying for the chicken, but I did very clearly ask for it up front. The menu clearly states that chicken is offered with all bowls and is an extra $2.25, not $5. So instead of just admitting their mistake and giving me the chicken - they not only charged me for it, but then explained I would have to pay the full cost of a chicken breast, not the extra cost of chicken with the bowl. The cashier gleefully said, "That's $5......not including the 41 cents you also owe for tax!" I wasn't the one who screwed up the order! This was all during the middle of a lunch rush and I was with a co-worker. Quite an embarrassing situation all for them to recover their 5 slices of grilled chicken. I hope it was worth it because I won't be going here again!

Delicious food and amazing service. A big confusing to find as it is in a giant building full of offices and I was coming from a different office park thinking it was just a restaurant. The clientele seemed to largely be people who worked in the building, so I felt a bit out of place with my little one there. Still, great service and food!
