Went to Kesari for dinner and everything we tried was delicious!! The onion rava masala dosa was amazing, highly recommend this restaurant. Great management and very professional staff. Overall, amazing experience and would come back again

This place isn't easy to find on searches for Indian food, but if you do, you're in luck! Service and food were fantastic.
We ordered several dishes- butter dosa, Mysore dosa, Mysore masala dosa, idli, vada, parotta with kurma, and finished with kesari bath. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was delicious! The dosas were crisp and made with enough butter, reminiscent of the street style/ darshini style of dosa in India- probably the best dosa I've had in the US. Vada was crisp and tasty. Parotta was flaky and delicious and the kurma was well prepared and went well with the parotta. The idlis were light and fluffy as idlis should be. The sambar and chutneys were fantastic. Rasam was also delicious. We finished with some kesari bath. It was well made and wasn't exceedingly sweet. It was a perfect finish to the meal.
Service was really good as well. Staff was courteous and attentive.
The only negative would be the small dining space and lack of decor. This can be ignored when the food and service is so good. I hope they continue to maintain this level of quality as I look forward to returning.
Best vegetarian restaurant in the neighborhood with authentic south indian food. Large portions served at an affordable price with absolutely no compromise on taste. Truly a must visit for vegetarians. Very friendly staff who serve with a smile and make you feel at home. Several comfort food options make us frequenters.
Today we went to this restaurant from Richardson, i never expected itโs going to be good, just wanted to try it out. Really surprised with their customer friendly attitude. Two guys standing in the reception they are very very helpful, owner itself is a friendly guy, and this is under a new management. We had south Indian thali and masala dosa, its like homely food, so fresh and tasty. Giving 5 star fir their setvice, fresh food, very friendly attitude, cleanliness, and the price. Please check out this place if you really want to try vegetarian food. We will definitely going to try next time.. please keep your service like this ๐๐๐๐๐
Must visit restaurant in this areas . They have delicious authentic South Indian cuisines. Service is great, food is fresh and reasonable price.

Though Dine-in space is small here, but food items are available the with good taste. Limited menu not flooded with many options. But, food quality and taste is so good. Price is cool. You will get enough amount of food for the money you paid. Good to try this place.
Great, simple, no-frills South Indian place serving home style, healthy food. The food was not at all oily. The Chole Batura for example was so flaky and not oily at all. Most of the food we ordered were clean tasting and had no excess oil. We ordered Poori masal (Aloo/potato Bhaji), Chole Batura, Upma/Rava Kichdi w veggies, Vada plate, Mango lassi & Masala buttermilk( Chaas). Below are the things to avoid.
Everything was good except the Vada. Avoid it. It was cold, a bit hard and lacked flavor. Avoid the Masala buttermilk too, it a bit salty and super spicy!
After Covid this is the first time we went to a restaurant as a big group. Their chutneys are so fresh and lip smacking and they have a variety of South Indian Vegetarian items on their menu! We tried their Parotta, Uthappam, Rava dosa, Masala dosa, Sambar Vada, Kesari and they all tasted yum. Friendly service and home like ambience and food is something very rare and Kesari is one of them! And yes we wiped the plates clean ๐! This is our second time visiting them after management changed and we will definitely visit again to try out other items in their menu.
