This place makes top shelf breakfast food. I had the amazing Stuffed French Toast (photo uploaded). Guerin's Grill in Plainville, Connecticut is a true hidden jewel. You, yes you, need to come here. Service can be slow at times but it is always caring and personable. Also, it's always good to support local independent restaurants. Closed on Monday, I found out the hard way...

Guerins grill has amazing food, waiters, and was a cute place. The waiters were kind and always had a smile. The place was clean, neat and nice looking. Everyone was friendly and nice. The food was delicious. there was a variety of different food choices for lunch and breakfast. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone around there or who is just driving by.

Don't let the drab gray building fool you. This is great homemade breakfast at a very reasonable price. Eggs bene with fresh hollandaise was fantastic and the homefries were perfect - fresh, not frozen. This guy knows how to cook - not just "sling hash." Staff was tops: friendly and on-the-ball - made us feel right at home. Have only been for breakfast a few times so far - but if same attention to detail is paid to the lunch menu - this spots a winner.

The chef never uses gloves . I went to have lunch my first time and observed the person making my sandwich. He was making different orders and touching uncooked meats,bacon, holding a filthy towel on his sholder and wiping his hands with the same towel . Grabbed tomatoes and the sandwich bread with the same hands and did this for multiple orders. No gloves ever were used. I felt sick to my stomach. The food it's good but I have never seen anyone not wash their hands, not even once . He made so many grinders and touched so many things without gloves or Washing hands. I will never go there again. I would never bring my child to this place, regardless rather their food is good or not. All you have to do is sit at the high chairs facing the kitchen and watch the person cook . You will think twice going there again.

Worst service ever! If I could give it a negative I would. Never eaten there before my husband and I saw the reviews so we thought we’d give it a shot. Waited 40 minutes and politely asked if food would be out as we are on an hour lunch break. They tell us 3 minutes and we say we will wait. 10 minutes goes by and I ask for the food to go as I have to get back to work and the cook yells at me and says he thought we were leaving. I waked out! Never will go there again!
