OMG...HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS RESTAURANT? IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD! I am so happy that I decided to try something new. The punch drink was so yummy. The gumbo was yummy! Very flavorful. I loved the corn bread with cinnamon butter. It was moist and delicious. But the jambalaya...WAS OUTSTANDING!!!! It had ham, sausage and chicken all resting on a pile of rice with red sauce. It was a huge portion and enough for two meals. The waitress was great. Very personable and attentive. Outdoor seating was great as there were umbrellas shading the tables. I will definitely go back. Such a big menu with many more things to try.

It was a fantastic dining experience. The food was all delicious from the alligator to the jambalaya. It is a very cool atmosphere with nice seating. It is in a great location in downtown Plainfield. Parking wasn't too difficult to find. Our server, Madelyn, was kind and prompt with the service. She did a wonderful job. I would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

Even on a busy Friday night, their staff was very patient and friendly with a first time customer. Ordered fried catfish with sweet potato fries and fried okra. I only wish I could have enjoyed it there as take-out boxes made food very soggy but taste was great. Definitely will be back to try in person next time!

Came in to Moe Joe's for drinks and a snack before "great race" car show. Had crayfish appetizer which was delicious! Horseradish sauce was outstanding. Food was good and full of flavor! We'll be back! Downtown Plainfield and car show committee are doing a great job! Thanks, Plainfield Police, for keeping things safe! A bustling and friendly city in the suburbs! Many restaurants and stores!

This place is definitely one of a kind. Best cajun food you will find in the area! The drink menu is also amazing. Highly recommend the gumbo and po boys. One thing I will say is service can be a little slow but the servers are always very nice. Just expect to wait a bit because the food takes awhile to prepare. One of the best restaurants in Plainfield.

New Orleans is my favorite place to visit and Moe Joe's gives a wonderful taste of New Orleans minus the travel. The service was great! The food was freshly made, perfectly seasoned and so good! The gumbo is authentic an d has okra YUMMM! The shrimp po boy was my favorite! And the drinks are tasty!

Good cajun food. They were hosting a broadcast the night we came for my birthday. The music was loud. The people were friendly. However they didn't were any masks. Not really Social distancing. Other than that nice place to grab some cajun food. They have a bar on the other side of the dining area.
