Pizza Bene

The food was fantastic. Authentic Italian dishes. Best seafood linguine I’ve ever had. So much seafood I thought my dish was a plate of mussels. My new favorite go to Italian Restaurant. The owner, chef and bartenders are very nice and my drink was very good. Can’t wait to try the deserts. Two thumbs up, Bene!

Lasagna was average, minestrone soup good. Very good bread, and excellent cappuccino. Friendly staff. Disappointed that we could not sit in a booth since there were just 2 of us, they said that they were saving it for 4. It was late and no one else came in. Also they would not seat me until my husband came in, he was parking the car. Again they were not busy….might try the pizza if we return.

I have lived in Placerville for over 30 years and I am a strong supporter of our local Main Street and businesses. I love my town and I am extremely involved in our community. I never right reviews. We tried to dine in for my daughter’s birthday and the size of party seemed to really put the hostesses out. She was extremely rude and did not seem to want anything to do with our family. She refused to seat us with only one person missing from our party as well. In addition there food is not all that great and they are extremely over priced. I have a big mouth and l will be sharing this experience with family and friends.

The best Italian food I've ever had, it's authentic and hearty. I live in Carmichael and take the drive to Placerville just for this place. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable. I've had the spaghetti and meatballs, rigatoni with sausage, linguine and prawns, Ravioli, the pizzas, and the bene special calzone.... All were splendid. The drinks are amazing too. Very nice people and ambiance.

The food here has always been excellent! I've had the Linguini and Prawns, large Italian Green Salad with grilled prawns, Afogato, Panna Cotta and Ravioli at different times. Their garlic bread is scrumptious! They used to have a female bartender who was excellent but they lost her somehow and got a young man who was not nearly as good. It has been about 9 months so hopefully they have someone better now. It can be noisy and crowded but it one of the best restaurants I've been to in California.

One of the best Italian food I've ever had. I stopped by into this small but beautiful town Placerville on the way back from Lake Tahoe and had our dinner at Bene Ristorante Italiano. The food was delicious. We ordered 'Fettucine Vegetariano' and 'Spaghetti Aglio E Olio' for our dinner. The price is a little costly then it justifies with the taste and the service. Staff was humble and friendly. FIVE star without any doubt. A must try!!
