Hog Wild Bbq

Hands down the best barbecue I've ever had in California let alone Texas or the South. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was succulent juicy full of flavor and not overly spicy. The pulled pork was fall apart delicious moist and flavorful. The macaroni and cheese was homemade extremely rich and satisfying. Probably the most comfort food item I had. The potato salad was better than average and the role was freshly made. My buddy had the St Louis ribs and brisket as well as the cornbread with honey butter. All of which were absolutely incredible as well. We tried each other's food which we never do and enjoyed every bite. We were completely useless the rest of the day. I plan on having them cater my next work event and will absolutely be back can't wait to take my family. The service was great the people were friendly the facilities were clean. This is the best barbecue in El Dorado county.

We moved here from Dallas so we know good BBQ and HogWild was our go-to place for years. New owners took over 2-3 years ago and we’ve slowly become disillusioned with each meal from here. The quality has gone down while the price has gone up, way up. Tonight we ordered 2lb chopped brisket & some green beans to go—$95 that I wish we’d spent elsewhere. The chopped brisket was loaded with huge amounts of fat, plus many large chunks of fat. It was way too much work picking through it for any brisket meat, which was somewhat stringy and lacked the great smoky flavor that Hog Wild used to have. The green beans were excellent but they’re not enough to bring us back in. HogWild, we wish we could love you for great brisket, not great green beans! We won’t be back.

OMG?? I AM SO MAD I SPENT ALMOST 80.00 ON SUCH A AWEFUL MEAL AND THE MAN BRAGGED HOW EVERYTHING WAS SO GREAT. MY PIE WAS MOLDED AS YOU CAN SEE, THE CHICKEN SAUSAGE WAS RUBBERY AND HAD NO FLAVOR AND MY MOM WHO LOVES BEANS AND MAC AND CHEESE THREW THEM BOTH OUT. THE CHICKEN BREAST WAS OK BUT THE PORTION WAS VERY SMALL THREE SLIVERS OF MEAT SMH. THE RIBS ARE OK BUT NOTHING TO BE EXCITED ABOUT. THE MOLDED PIE HAS ME ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE THIS PIE IF U COULD SEE IT ITS GROWING FUR LOL SMH NASTY
