Solid American-style Chinese food, good quantity for the price and pretty fast, too. Chicken was packed into the tray and I was happy to find some meaty broccoli crowns, too, stems and all. The sauces could use a little tweaking. Didn't get a lot of citrus flavor from the orange chicken unless I spooned out a big glob of sauce or a piece of peel; otherwise, it didn't taste that different from my partner's sesame chicken.

Was there late night and the buffet was still well stoked, everything was as fresh as you would expect an hour before close and the people were very Friendly. The buffet was very delicious and and a lot of American style foods as well as Chinese.

Solid buffet. It is smaller in size but that means that the food was more fresh. They bought out fresh food multiple times while we were there. Not the best Chinese food I've had in Pittsburgh...but that's not the point of a buffet is it.

I have been eating at China Garden for years. I don't go as often as I used to, but each time I go they do not disappoint. This most recent visit I got vegetable rolls and chicken & broccoli w/white rice. The rolls were a little more oily than I remember, but still good. The broccoli was cooked perfectly!!!! I don't know how they make it crunchy and tender all at the same time LOL the chicken was good too. I would have liked less soy sauce used during preparation, but it was still good! The rice, as always cooked perfectly. Buttery and delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my food.

China Garden has been my / our go to Chinese food take out establishment since we moved to Munhall at the end of June. We had our favorite in North Carolina of course and it's not fair to compare. So far I've had the sweet and sour chicken, and chicken and broccoli. The dishes have been more than ample and excellent! Be aware, the China Garden (for those that do not know) is attached to the China Buffet. If you order by phone for pickup, you'll need to go to the less visible entrance to the left. I haven't been disappointed yet. Take this review with a grain of salt because everyone's taste is different.

Have been eating here for occasional lunch for years. Great place for lunch not your typical small (15 ways to cook a potato ) buffet.. staff do not lurch over you even if your eating with a bunch of "Heavy Hitters". Place is clean and we'll run. Good place for a quick lunch...

I just moved to this area and decided to give this place a try! I was not disappointed. Prices were comparable to other Chinese-American restaurants but portions were huge. I usually eat the Pepper Steak with Onion and this was probably the best quality beef I’ve ever had. The woman at the counter was very nice and polite. We will definitely be back!

Great food! We ordered carry out for dinner and the service was amazing. They were able to make some items that were in on the menu and the food was delicious. We had vegetable Lo mein, spring rolls and Szechuan tofu. Highly recommend.

This is a nice small buffet connected to a restaurant next door. Probably have about 30 tables so it gets packed pretty quick in the busy hours. The food was exceptional have to pick and choose what you like. Somewhat of a smaller selection compared to other buffets. The cost for the lunch buffet is $11.29 after tax and you pay before you eat. Soft drinks are included in this pricing so water drinkers dont get a discount. All around a good restaurant just smaller than most buffets.

Bought take-out from them twice recently (over the last 4 weeks). The food is really good for the price. The customer service is great and the staff are nice and very easy to talk to. Will remain as customer!

A favorite spot of my nephew and mine!! Clean, pleasant environment that is family oriented; very good Asian and American cuisine; always a nice variety of dishes. Very efficiently operated.
