We were in town for a week and had found out about banjo night prior to visiting. We arrived early And were asked if we had reservations, which we did not. We were offered seats and beer menus. Like many fraternal clubs the drinks were cheap. We really enjoyed the music and several of the foods on offer that were prepared by club member volunteers. 10/10, would banjo night again.

Went to their fish fry last night. It was our first one ever! It was amazing!! We had to park several blocks away because of how crowded it was. And we waited for a table for about 45 mins…It was chilly. But we were so excited! And the whole experience did not disappoint!! From a band playing fun music to the amazingly large and fresh fish w/sides to the high energy to the really nice volunteers there…it was most definitely a memorable evening! And it won’t be our last!!

Came for this fish fry and it was a great experience. The music was fantastic and the food was good as well.
It was about a 50-minute wait before we got inside but it was worth it. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed hearing the Pittsburgh Banjo Club. Started in 1988. Have performed every Wednesday evening at the Elks Lodge for the past 18 years. Talented group that enjoy playing. Good food and drinks. No admission charge. Free wholesome music that is not too loud.

Went to their Friday Lent fish fry. The food is excellent! You get fish and two sides. You can order either a large or small fish. The people that work this event are all volunteers and do an excellent job! I highly recommend this event!

I love to go to the Elks Club for Banjo Night (Wednesdays) and Jazz Nights (every other Thursday) with the Jazz Conspiracy and dance lessons. Lots of nice, interesting people, cheap drinks and chill Pittsburgh atmosphere. Definitely one of the cities best kept secrets.

Great place to visit every month on a Wednesday for their Banjo night. Good and cheap food (cash only). Great event to hangout with your buddies and enjoy lively and authentic Banjo music.

I am new to the North Shore and came to the Elks, for Wednesday's Banjo Night. It was awesome! A super great crowd, with some awesome music and an overall good time. People were friendly and the banjo players were way too cute! They really did a great job. I think this has been one of my favorite activities on the North Shore, because of the unique crowd that it attracts. A lot of old and young people, in one place; it was good to see! I recommend getting some friends together on Wednesday evening and heading over.
