Pigeon Bagels has some of the best bagels I've ever had - period. The bagels here compete with the best, including New York and Montreal. The line can be a little long, but worth every minute of the wait. I had the classic Lox on a garlic+sea salt bagel, and it was absolutely exquisite. Brimming with lox and capers, with their creamy herb schmear to tie it all together. Absolutely PERFECT.

Awesome bagels! I'd recommend their everything bagel with cream cheese. They have lots of toppings, bagel flavors, assorted pastries, delicious specialty lattes and vegan options as well (like vegan lox).
It's a small but popular spot so sometimes there is a bit of a wait. I'd recommend going a bit after it's busy in the morning (maybe 10am?) but try a few different times to see what's the best wait time for you.

Having relocated from Jersey four years ago, I've been on a quest to find delicious bagels in Pittsburgh. Thanks to a recommendation from a foodies group, I decided to give Pigeon Bagels a shot, and let me tell you, they absolutely delivered. It was like a taste of home. The portions of lox and cream cheese were incredibly generous, and the bagel itself was a delightful combination of crunchy and fluffy. I can't stress enough how much I recommend this place.

Really good bagels and the tofu herb schmear is so refreshing! The bagels were freshly baked, having a crunchy surface but a chewy inside. Both the vegetable and lox bagel sandwiches were amazing. Their drinks are also very good, with their cold brew being a perfect combo with each bagel! Pastries are also really good, with the matcha cake being not too sweet.

We waited for like 20 minutes (be prepared!) and ordered two different bagels and a coffee. Bagels were a bit chewy but tasted good and the fillings were great. I personally like my bagels little crunchy. We also ordered their Rose Latte which was to my surprise, really good!

Worth the wait outside (even in the rain). I got the classic lox on a everything bagel and my friend got the carrot lox on a everything bagel. Having a vegan menu was a huge plus. Coffee was great. Parking is street but not hard to find a spot and free.

Such goooood bagels!! They are freshly made everyday and they are very generous with the schmear haha! This place always has a line but it’s worth it!

Best bagels in Pittsburgh! Get there early on the weekends, because they almost always sell out before closing time (especially when the weather is nice)! The fig and honey schmear is my go-to filling 🤍

First time here and very pleased! As recent transplants to Pittsburgh, we've been looking for a good bagel spot and I think we found it.
Bagels are perfectly chewy and heavy on the seeds. Ask for light cream cheese if you don't want a thick schmear.
Visited on a Thursday morning during the holidays and although it was busy, the line moved quickly and our order was out super fast (even though we got sandwiches + bagels to go)

People come flocking to Pigeon Bagel.
Pigeon Bagel is quite the establishment that everyone is chirping about. Located just outside Schenley Park and on corner of Horbart and Wightman Street is Pigeon Bagels nestled into its petite footprint, and adorned by a mural of its establishment with characters seemingly out of a modern day take to Alice In Wonderland. Inside you will find a bustling establishment and its work area. You can find the menu on the counter and right outside the door before entering.
Parking is cramped and you must traverse the area to find a parking spot, especially if Pigeon Bagel is over encumbered by customers.
I enjoyed a bagel with my personal touch that being of fig and honey smear, cucumbers, smoked salmon aka Lok. The bagel sandwich was mouth watering and left me wanting more, even after I hastily devoured my highly tasteful delight. Needless to say I recommend this as a must return establishment! Enjoy!
