There's a reason the gumbo is their star attraction. It's delicious! The cornbread that comes with a bowl is also amazing and pairs well with the gumbo.

Absolutely loved this place! I read the ratings about the gumbo so had to try it. The ratings did not disappoint. The gumbo was on point. Seasons were perfect. The amount of large shrimp cooked perfectly was a huge surprise! The owners made me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. T
Finding this place was an accident, but the food and hospitality was well worth it. You gotta try their gumbo— it was so good! They give you 16 oz and they absolutely load it with chicken, shrimp, rice and vegetables. And the cornbread was good too! I left full and satisfied. The owner was so nice.
This beautiful cafe is an absolute gem. Owner Mike served us the best ever Gumbo that one can have in Pittsburgh or in NOLA. The cornbread was light, moist and delicious (I am typically not a fan but this cornbread is a must). Will be back to tasty the other menu items.
