The fresh sandwiches and sausage chi is my favorite And the workers are always smiling and pleasant!
Very nice deli with a real family feel. Everything is fresh and the sandwiches are creative and unique, with the build your own deli style options also. The prices are great for the quality and care the food is given. The pasta salad was better than expected.
I like this place. It's a bit of a hidden gem since it's tucked right beside the Crazy Mocha. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and the interior of the place is extremely clean. My favorite thing is The Market Square; turkey, swiss, coleslaw, thousand island on marble rye. That being said, the sandwiches are the best thing as far as the food is concerned. The soups are rather bland and the interior of the place constantly smells of burning toast...
I got the downtowner today and I have to say if you like roast beef you have to try it. For 10 bucks I got a sandwich and a coke. Really hard to beat that. The staff is super friendly and nice. I would have included a picture, but I ate it so fast. Really good food here
I am currently eating a sandwich from here. I took one bite and instantly knew I had to give this place 5 stars! Very happy my company ordered lunch from here and I will now be a regular!
Sandwiches are average, but the hot sausage chili is awesome. There is a good variety of options here but I always just end up getting the chili since it's so good. They do lunch specials where you can get a half a sandwich and a cup of soup/chili which would be a good way to try out both for a low price.
Ate here for the first time yesterday added to my list of one of the best places I’ve get ate before I had the squirrel hill which is basically a corned beef Reuben
My goodness how my mouth watered it was so amazing never ever had one that good before in my whole life. Hey when you wish you had two you know there good I’ll be stopping in again today for another it’s a must have sandwich for sure! Staff is very friendly and are there to asset you right away! Thanks guys!
Wanted somewhere where I could walk up to a counter and order an egg salad sandwich on wheat and not worry if it was going to have micro greens and bruleed grape fruit on it. Perfect city deli, quick service and friendly staff. Manager guy in yellow polo was genuinely just nice. I was having a bad day and a smile goes a long way! Sandwich was great. The menu sandwiches look really good as well, interesting combinations with the classic deli ingredients but without any frills. And at this point to spend less than $10 on a good lunch is getting harder and harder. Thanks!
The sandwiches are so unique and I love how they relate to different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. My favorite is the Highlander. They really stack on the meat and the Breadworks bread is the best!
Reasonably priced sandwich shop apparently specializing in chili that I didn’t try. I got very simple grilled cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Both were triple layered. Very sweet older staff
Hands down best deli in Pittsburgh. Family owned and operated with an amazing staff. Owner (Jim) is incredibly kind and will always greet you with a smile. And they have the coolest logo in Pittsburgh.
