Everything you see here (yes the beer too) 13 bucks total. Onion rings are awsome and the cheese steak sandwich is incredible

3.5, rounded up. Large, relatively cheap drinks. That’s nice. The food is hit or miss... nachos are weak, but the hot fries were very good. The wings looked good, but I didn’t eat any. The bartenders in the back room for private events are slow, and seem pretty inexperienced, but if it isn’t too crowded this isn’t too much of a problem. I like the idea of the build-a-bucket, but for a place called “The Thirsty Scholar” they get points deducted for spelling errors (column is not spelled “columb”).

An interesting little "nerd bar" down in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere is cool, the drinks aren't too expensive for the area, and the bar isn't too crowded. Not a dance club or a party bar, but a good place to go to have a few drink with friends.

Good lunch special of a burger and fries for $6. The burger is hand made and the bun was good. Blue moon pints were the special of the day for $3. I had a good lunch with a beer for under $10. They have a few beers on tap and a bunch in bottles. Service has always been good when I visit. I work across the street so this is the go to spot for happy hour with coworkers.

Sweet potato fries were amazing. So we're the zucchini planks. Wraps very tasty. Our server, Tony, was knowledgeable about the beers. Would be proud to recommend this place!

This place is amazing! A lot of space, with a great selection of drinks and food. The specials are awesome. They also let us watch the world cup match, with sound! Highly recommend it.

This is one of the best new bars in Oakland! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The appetizers we got were enormous and exceptional! I was also very very impressed at how reasonable the prices were for food and especially drinks! They have a huge selection of different rums, specifically for very very cheap. I've told all of my friends about this place. Can't praise it enough!

A unappreciated bar on Pitt's campus. However, it should get more attention it is never too crowded and the drinks are a good price. Their happy hour specials are solid as well.

A great new bar on Pitt’s campus on Fifth Ave. This place is a great new, renovated space with a beer shop in the front and two bars and a kitchen with plenty of seating area. The service is quick and friendly, and they have many great deals on drink prices and meal deals as well.

This place is both a bottle shop and restaurant. I can't speak to the restaurant's food but their tap list is packed with fairly priced craft beers and their other drinks are solid. They seem to be running specials every day so look into them when you first get there. Atmosphere is great: not as noisy as smaller bars. Their bottle shop has a good craft beer selection, but I wouldn't recommend it since most of the six packs are quite overpriced. Their create your own six pack thing is not worth it since you pay per bottle (which are ~3/4 bucks each)
