The portions have gotten way smaller than they used to be. For the prices, I will now have to think twice about continuing to order from herre if the portions are going to shrink up that much from what they used to be.

Yum yum burritos! Great vegetarian and vegan options. Love the back patio - it's a hidden gem. The guac is the best around, in my opinion.

I drive by this place every morning on my way to work, and Thursday night (9/14) I decided it was time to try it out with my partner. Great food, great atmosphere, awesome service, amazing prices, you get that bang for your buck! We had two burritos, a beer each, a quesadilla to split, and some chippies.

Was excited to finally visit the Regent Square location after being to the North Side location several times. Brought my husband and I did not overhype the food; he loved it. California burrito is my go-to (carne asada, guac, and french fries 🤤) and he had a regular carne asada burrito. We had the patio to ourselves and even for a Tuesday afternoon they somehow made it romantic out there.

The food is awesome, the employees are super kind and make you feel welcome. I really feel like they went out of their way to be kind and helpful. I really like when a restaurant can niche it’s aesthetic out and really capitalize on it. It’s very thoughtful in how it is curated artistically. I feel like the prices are very fair especially contrasted to mad mex or condados. It’s comparable with patrons, patrons is a little cheaper for a lot more food though. I’ll definitely be coming here bi weekly if not more.

A small gem tucked in the one block business district of Regent Square. The inside seating is snug and comfy with a great neighborhood bar and then the back outdoor, covered area opens up to surprise and delight. Great bar options, incredible Mexican fare. Can’t beat it.

So, I really wanted to go to Applebee's down the street to get some cheese sticks and a buffalo chicken wrap, but my out of town hipster boss was insistent on trying something different. I disagreed but had to defer since he was paying. Long story short, I have never been happier to be wrong. Ashley at El Burro was phenomenal, the patio was perfect and lunch was delicious. No matter how much you crave cheese sticks, you have to give this place a try, it's totes worth it.

This is a great place to itch your burrito craving, there is a pineapple hot sauce that is amazing with your burrito. On a nice day hang out on the patio in the back!

The recipes are there but the execution not so much. The carne asada and shredded beef burritos I’ve had both had a fishy taste, likely prepared on the same spot as seafood items. The quesadilla I received wasn’t even melted all the way. West coast chains (Rubios, etc.) do it all better. I’d typically rate 3 stars but the great back patio and context (its Mexican in Pittsburgh) brings things from a 3 to 4 star.

I ordered the vegan trio and it came with regular cheese . That doesn’t make any sense . Also it lacks flavor. My potatoes were nearly mush . I’m not sure I’ll return and if I do it’s because the girl that took my order was super friendly and offered a suggestion that I didn’t take her up on so I may try that burrito next . Update : I came back here and I will say that I’ve had a better experience with better quality tacos than my previous review. Aside from the woman who kept inserting herself in my private conversation I had a pleasant experience Updated to a 4 star.
