Went for the first time. Totally chill place, felt super comfortable, great service, street parking. Only went for some drinks. Graffiti everywhere, somewhat obsene, maybe it's just there to weed out the riff raff? Diverse patrons, likely mostly local regulars? Yes there was a bit of smoke, to me it was more like restaurant smoke of days gone by, not like the thick, heavy, blue air I've often experienced back then. Yet most places these days have no smoking, so this place might seem like a lot?! To me, this felt like a bar taken over by a son, who had different ideas about a business, maybe a counter culture visionary who also has a business sense. Like that they have a nice selection of beer, mine was a draft a good bit far down the list, and it tasted fresh, not old and stale. Always thought it would be cool to have a bar, and to have one as relaxed as this one would be optimal!

Best place for a Guinness, when I moved to PGH back in ‘99 I was lucky enough to meet a friend who has been a local at this bar for over 20 years and i could see why. Amazing dive bar with chill atmosphere and the best glass of Guinness. I once walked from downtown to Gooski’s for a cold glass of Guinness! Always swing by now when I’m back in town and recommend for you Guinness and dive bar lovers!!

Visited twice. The best wings I've ever ate, and I'm not a wing guy. They also give you a load of fries or tots. Drinks are good. This will be my go to in Pittsburgh. Good dive bar

A really interesting place To hang out and shoot some pool. Very reasonable drink and food prices. Me and my fiance visited and had a great time. Everybody was very friendly. We will definitely go again, the next time we visit the strip district.

What a vibe this place is, visited from Michigan and I would travel back to Pittsburgh just to go back to this bar. Bartenders and people of Pittsburgh were amazing. Played ping pong in the back room and they had Żywiec which made for a great night

a dive bar filtered through punk aesthetic. great selection of beers, a raucous vibe. i love the jukebox of nothing but personally assembled compilations. you want to listen to music you love? you're gonna have to work for it by searching through scribbled hand notes of those compilations which are as random as they are intriguing. live music.... sometimes.... usually some weird, obscure, or cool movie playing as background noise, a pinball machine beckons from the corner. this is a place where it feels like anything can happen

Even with the smoke, this place is easily one of my favorite bars in town. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is very good. The bartenders have always been friendly and professional. The setup of the bar is perfect to both catch a band play and to drink at the bar and still be able to talk since the stage is far enough back that the bar area isn't too loud. Bathrooms are clean and covered in interesting graffiti. Every time I go there I end up having so much fun I lose track of time and end up closing the place down... it's that good!

Saw the bartender drop kick the bathroom door down bc someone wouldn’t come out. Door man will charge douche bags from the southside $ to get in even tho there is no cover. I was physically thrown out of this bar then bouncer got me and let me back in. used to go here way too much. best bar in america 🇺🇸

One of the best places me and my family have ever had a good time at! Ate amazing wings and enjoyed the atmosphere! Our bartender Timmy was amazing and took care of us when we thought we lost our card on the floor! He quickly grabbed a big flash light and helped us look!

The nicest bartenders in town might intimidate the un-initiated... but these handsome gents will remember your name and what you drink. Best old school jukebox in town. Best dive bar in town. Crazy array of beer and good liquor selection. Live music on the weekend and excellent bar food. The list goes on and on. Basically if you're in a bad mood go here. It will cheer you up. Cash only.
