The Isaly Company - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Yet another FOODIE’S DELIGHTFUL DINER RECOMMENDATION.👏👏👏. The American Diner tradition 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 is alive and very well indeed! This is truly is a pleasing throwback to the 70’s, setup and decor. It’s apparently a Pittsburgh classic. The menu (breakfast and luncheon) is short and sweet, sign of maste
Isaly restaurant serves foods such as pancakes, omelettes, and sandwiches. Prices are about several dollars per entree. My husband and I ate breakfast here. We seated ourselves at a table, and our waitress soon arrived to give us menus and to take our orders. She promptly brought our beverages and f
The service was attentive, and the food was adequate. Other than a couple of chipped ham items there wasn't much to set it apart from your typical greasy spoon.
Awesome food and great service! I also love the nostalgia behind Isaly's!!
I highly recommend the Irish Omelette! The food at Isaly's is fantastic. Great music too: classic rock from the 70s and 80s was playing on my last visit. They're probably not the best choice for large groups because of the small booths/tables and lack of parking, but a great spot to meet a friend f
What a great place! Breakfast foods, lunch classics. Nice menu options. Great service.
This historic diner filled with pictures of pittsburghs past and an authentic old diner vibe still slings some of the best most reasonably priced sandwiches in the city.
Going there for 20 years for breakfast. Ownership changed over the years, but convenient, good breakfast.
Good service and food. They do not have anything gluten free though.
Isaly's has been around as a company since 1833 as a cheese company. Eventually turned into a dairy company and now a deli that serves their famous chip chopped ham. This is one of the last three remaining Isaly's left. It's kept the classic interior. Food is very good and reasonably priced. They ma
A repeat favorite for brunch! The chipped ham is delicious, but then so is everything on the menu. Make sure to check out the milkshake of the month 😉
The food here is delicious and the portion sizes are great. Prices are extremely reasonable and the service was good too. I highly recommend the chipped ham
It was like taking a step back in time. I love the decor. The service was great. The food was wonderful. I even ordered stuff to take home. I wish I had room for a milkshake, I'm going to have to go back again soon for one. I definitely recommend stopping here if you haven't yet. Just make sure you'
We love coming here every Sunday morning. It has historical photos and signage from the area. The staff is great and the food is delicious!
Love the vibe, food and service a great sat morning spot
My wife and I love this place! Old school diner feel, staff is always friendly and the food is simple, yet tasty! The prices are super competitive. If you are local to the West View area, give them a shot! If you like hotdogs, you have to try theirs!
I read about this last location and stopped there when I drove in for the Pitt game. I arrived at 1:45 and didn't know they close at 2pm. The service was good but could have been a bit friendlier. I haven't been to an Isalys since I moved away and wanted my old favorite, chipped ham on rye. They wer
Service very good. It's the continuation of a Pittsburgh tradition. It is a small business in a tough location unless you know it's there. Just a little pricey, for the amount of food, but good food, nonetheless. It just needs more local patronage.
This place had absolutely delicious food! I got the Everyday Special breakfast while my fiance got the French Toast. Both were great! Good coffee, cute and homie atmosphere. Food was a little slow, but otherwise it was a wonderful place to eat!
