Great food. New addition to Mt. Washington. Been there twice and the food was great both times.
A little pricey, but higher quality. The food is about 20%-25% more expensive than most other places, but I've found the food to be at least 20%-25% better than most other places too. I haven't ordered delivery, I've only dined in the restaurant, but both experiences thus far have been positive. I especially loved the Spicy Trio dish. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce had a nice flavor.
Our new Chinese go to!. Decided to try the Sesame Garden tonight for takeout, glad we did. Had Crab Rangoons, Chicken Lo Mein and General Tso's. Everything was very good. Crab Rangoons had a lot of filling and were not greasy. The sauce on the General Tso's chicken was very nice and the chicken was meaty and plentiful. Lo Mein was spot on. Large portions, good prices and walking distance to our house! Now that Sesame Inn at Station Square is closed, we'll happily order our takeout from here. Although we didn't eat in, we waited inside. Decor is clean and new. Word must be getting out as they were pretty busy on a Saturday around 5pm! Give it a try. A great update on Shiloh!
Chinese back on the mount. For the new Chinese Restaurant on the mount it is pretty decent. Expanded menu with alot more choices than the old Golden Palace that was there. Went inside to pick up a menu and there is a fresh new decor. Placed a sizable delivery order and it was delivered in a reasonable time and everything was fresh and hot. Very nice portions although some of their sauces are extremely salty. Glad to have Chinese back in the mount, will order again.
This place is great. Fantastic food and very calm atmosphere.
I'm serious, this place can COOK. I've been here three times and I've ordered a different dish every time. Every time I've been impressed - they're always cooked perfectly.
The staff is very friendly.
They bring out food in a reasonable time: appetizer comes out immediately, entree comes after you've had a reasonable time to get through your appetizer. I love the timing.
The only (slight) downside is the place has a slightly strange smell, but after you've been sitting there for a few minutes, you can't even tell anymore.

Staff was so friendly. Food was amazing!!! 🤤 The barbecued spare ribs and Kung Pao beef were fantastic! Loved the atmosphere — Nice and chill, especially for being up on Shiloh street. Will definitely go back!!!
Dropped in on Tuesday; right after the take out dinner rush. Food came fast and hot. I had the Amazing duo (chicken and shrimp). I expected spicy along with the tangy; but it was a 1 out of 5 on the spice scale. Disnt care for the chicken egg roll. All in all, food was good. Service was great; will be a "go to" in the future.
Came in over the weekend for dinner, and we were happy to have walked by this place! A lot of their dishes/sauces are made from scratch in house. Order the seaweed salad pork dumplings and the Mongolian beef. My husband loved the seaweed salad and said it had a ton of flavor. We shared the pork dumplings and they were great, we usually get our dumplings steamed but with their house-made dumpling dough I would probably suggest getting them fried which we will try next time. Also shared the Mongolian beef and it was massive we ended up taking quite a bit home and eating it later. Would highly recommend, really nice staff and very fresh food!
Our food was delicious and the service was great! The gentleman who waited on us was very nice. Will definitely be going back again in the future.
Had a great meal here. Waiter was attentive, friendly and gave a great entree recommendation.
We had the vegeterian Mussaman with vegetables, Chicken Fingers with fried rice and Orange Chicken. All were presented well and tasted great.
The tofu in the Mussaman was pressed and prepared perfectly.
Can't believe the final price as I expected it to be at least $15 more.
Ordered delivery from here tonight for the first time and the food is fantastic as well as the customer service. I will def be a repeat customer. The coconut shrimp is absolute perfection and the crab rangoons are delicious too. All the food was good but those were our faves. Also, I made a mistake and only ordered 1 can of pop, the owner took it upon himself to drop off a whole 2 liter after the fact free of charge.
Wow!! Really good! I haven't been here for awhile but it appears they stepped it up quite a bit. I got the lemon chicken lunch special, delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly and it was a good balance of quality to quantity. Wonton soup actually had flavor and wasn't an afterthought. The also have a selection of healthy options, some without MSG seasoning if you are sensitive to it.
The inside of the restaurant was REALLY clean too. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere, great if you want something quieter than most of the Shiloh St bar restaurants. Owner is very hospitable as well.
We had one of the best meals of our stay in Pittsburgh at this restaurant. Our family ate here after taking the incline up. The sesame shrimp, green beans, and egg rolls were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The service staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Our children labeled it as the best meal of the trip (they love egg rolls and dumplings). Our family was so grateful to eat at a restaurant that does vegetables well.
Awesome delivery Chinese in Pittsburgh. The General Tsos is crispy and the sauce is brilliant. Fantastic pork lomein. And the appetizer sampler for two is a great deal!
