an extremely welcoming and informative staff. These are great people and they do some really cool stuff that you haven’t even seen on Instagram so definitely check them out. New location coming soon to the strip district so that’s good to hear.

Great bubble tea! Lots of flavors. And the pastries are fantastic.

Nice little place for quick cakes or shaved ice. The green tea shaved ice was good, a little too much green tea powder though. There’s also only a large portion size, so you’ll need some friends.

Got a slice of the green tea cake and a slice of the strawberry cake to go. Both were delicious as always!

Creative offerings and not too sweet cakes! I highly recommend their bingsu(offered only during the summer).

I was looking for 2 last minute birthday cakes and I’m so glad I found Sumi’s! I ended up getting the Mango cake, Strawberry cake, and a slice of Green Tea cake for myself to try. They were ALL delicious!! Seriously, the mango cake was probably one of the best mango cakes I’ve ever had. The mango and strawberries both tasted fresh and the cakes were not too sweet aka perfect for my Asian taste buds. The green tea cake slice was equally as delicious and had pieces of red bean in it! I also grabbed a couple pastries to try out as well and those did not disappoint. Highly recommend the condensed milk bread and the red bean bun. I can’t wait to come back to try all the other desserts and pastries!!

Red bean buns, strawberry cake, earl grey cake, green tea cake, red bean bingsu, mixed fruit (mango, blueberry, strawberry, and grapes) bingsu, cappuccino, etc. We were couch lounging and this came up on our online search for bingsu. There is not a ton of seating, but late afternoon on a Saturday we were able to order our bingsu and find a seat to enjoy it. You can buy a full cake or individual slices. Prices are reasonable, and the location is great in Squirrel hill.

They have amazing desserts! Their green tea cake was really really good and the buttercream is light. Their other food items are pretty delicious and very reasonably priced

This is my favourite cakery in the world! Their cakes are very light (both the sponges and the cream) and have real fruits in them. The mango cake is seasonal and the best thing on the menu w real mango bits between two sponge layers -- gorgeous!! Also try the crispy hotdog and sausage rolls -- very nice snacks! Only complaint is how little they're open on weekends but I applaud Sumi's work life balance!! :))
