Original Oyster House - Pittsburgh - Photo album

The crab cakes were more filler than crab and the fries were just not good. However the atmosphere and service were top notch. The drinks were made with care and perfect. The history of this place is pretty cool.
Cold beer and oysters how could you go wrong. The bar and atmosphere are super cool. Will be back forsure.

The staff are really friendly and it seemed like everyone that came in was treated like a regular. The Oyster shooters are interesting being in a plastic cup but they were

LOVE The Original Oyster House, downtown Pittsburgh. Great fish, great oysters, great employees, great historic Pittsburgh bar. Great memories too. Hate the aggressive panhandlers. They intimidate me. Wish the Mayor could help with this problem so we could enjoy The Original Oyster House again. We m
Great fish sandwiches & Iron City beer. Our brother's picture on the wall is fun.
A small hole-in-the-wall type place rich with history. The food offerings were what we expected, and priced fairly. We were not disappointed at all. This isn't a fancy, revolutionary, over the top presentation type of place, it's a small menu that's well executed and if you can appreciate that, then
The best fish sandwich…ever!
We stopped in for oyster shooters and a couple of drinks at the bar and had such a great experience. The history of the restaurant got me and then the staff and owners were so kind and really lovely to talk to. Highly recommend!
Right now I think it is one of the only places to get a very good fish sandwich. The 3 places where I used to go to are closed and I do not know why. There are a few new places I will eat at in the future. I have a few names but I have not been to them yet. They are on my list, will try them some
