This was my first time at Pie for Breakfast. It is highly recommended. The bottomless mug of Commonplace coffee is a tasty way to start the meal. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes. Despite the name, they also have savory options as well as pie. Kielbasa and eggs were delicious. Smaller venue that can lead to some serious wait times, but it was definitely worth the 40 minute wait.

We had the housemade ginger beer (amazing), a chai latte (pretty tasteless, but they said it was a new addition), the porkchop (the applesauce was amazing), the lamb burger (I want all of the cucumber sauce), and took a piece of vinegar pie to-go (OMG).

Almost devoured entire pie until I realized I hadn’t taken a picture yet. The vinegar pie is super tasty and the espresso pairs well with it. The top layer of the pie is just caramélisés pie filling which is delicious~ The crust is has a nice firmness to it and not soggy at all.

Friendly staff, the pancakes we're very good and the butterscotch pie was to die for. Wasn't super impressed with the salt rising bread toast people rave about. I thought it was just ok.
I didn't think I would like this place, but Oh. My. God! Amazing breakfast/ brunch food all from scratch! Hands down my new favorite breakfast place! The vinegar pie blew my mind. You have to try it 👍
