Excellent food! Not loud nor boisterous. No wait for a table on Friday night. Meat dishes are expensive, so eat vegetarian. Pictured here is the Mediterranean Veggie.

Great food! Love the chicken wrap. Tabouleh was tasty. I'm a sucker for those! They do give you quite a bit of a portion, which I found somewhat difficult to finish, but saving it for lunch isn't a big deal. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Great little place! 10 of my friends - with 10 of our children!! - and I descended on this restaurant one weekday night, and wow - they are amazing. (Note to people who desperately avoid children when making decisions on where to eat: I've been there before, and it's not the norm that there are many kids. So, please do not let our random night out affect your decision making. But it was extremely nice that the staff and owners appreciate families, too.) The food was great - including the more traditional food that is not often seen on Middle Eastern restaurants in the US (special nod to the Shakria, which is what I ordered - I've had that in eastern Mediterranean countries, made it at home, and Naya's version was excellent!!). I went around and tried all of my friends' dishes (or at least those willing to share ;) ) and they were all great as well. I don't know what all of our children ordered, because they ate it too quickly. However, my daughter loved her kabob when I asked her about it afterwards.I definitely recommend this place, the food alone is worth it, but the people there are also quite kind. And try the shakria. If you don't like it, send me the leftovers. :)

My husband and I love Naya! It is one of the gems of the Murray Avenue restaurant scene. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. We regularly bring friends and out-of-town guests there. I highly suggest ordering the Mezza platter as an appetizer for the table because it has a little bit of everything. I often let the waitstaff order for me and I'm always delighted by what they bring. The family who operates the restaurant is absolutely lovely and we are happy to be loyal patrons.

You should definitely check out this place if you enjoy Middle Eastern food. Went with a party of four and we were all very impressed with our meal, as well as the kind and attentive service. We had a variety of dishes and starters that were all great; the mezze platter was quite nice and the kibbe was exceptional and worth the wait.

My wife and I ordered from Naya last night and are enjoying the left overs this morning. Not only were the portions generous, but all of the food tasted fresh and delicious. The baba ganoush might be the best I've ever had- silky, creamy, and bright in all the best ways (can't go wrong with the hummus either, though). The stuffed grape leaves we're a treat and were easier to bite through than most. As a main course the American style falafel burger reminded me of all my favorite parts of a hamburger, without the meat- crispy on he outside, substantial on the inside, and much easier on my stomach. After dressing it with some baba and tabouleh, I was in a state of sensory bliss. If you love Middle Eastern food, you'll love this restaurant!

The folks at Naya were very welcoming to our party of 16, which included 4 teenagers and 4 children. Adham and his colleague welcomed us warmly and were attentive to us throughout our visit. The food was all excellent. I highly recommend the dawood basha. I look forward to returning on our next visit to Pittsburgh.

Really solid menu with lots of options. I decided to go an a la carte route and get a few appetizers to create a meal. Very tasty. A friend ordered shwarma and that looked amazing, so that will probably be my next choice. I also got baklava and Syrian coffee and it was great.

Unquestionably one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. Whatever you may think of Syria, it's food culture is first rate. This restaurant specializes in its coastal cuisine. The staff here couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.
