Dining partner and I ordered the Taiwanese Chunk Chicken, mango tea, cuttle fish balls, mapo tofu, and almond black milk tea. The food was good, I thought there was room for improvement in terms of flavor. It was not bad, just closer to bland. Good enough for a 4 star rating but not quite hitting that 5 star. I wish I could put a 4.5 because that is what they deserve. However, it was nice not to eat something coated in a sugary, sticky syrup. When I return, I will grab a drink and skip the food. It was good but the drinks are a lot better.

I ordered from here through grubhub and the food was really good and came 30 min early. The food was really fresh and the bubble tea was delicious as well, we got Almond Black Milk Tea (good but don't get if you want something very sweet) and Lychee Tea with Green Tea (quite sweet). I did add some sriracha to my Ma Po Spicy Bean Curd, but it was good without it as well.

My favorite, most consistent restaurant in all of Squirrel Hill! Their menu is pretty overwhelming, with a plethora of different dishes and varieties- which made me a little skeptical at first - but every different dish I have gotten has been amazing! Normally I try to find my one favorite dish at a restaurant and standardize on that, but each time at Rose Tea I try something new and am constantly surprised that the high quality is maintained time and time again! These are kind people who make amazing food and I want to do everything I can to help them stay afloat!

It was really surprising that we could find authentic stinky tofu here with Taiwanese kimchi. The boba tasted like Taiwanese breakfast milk tea.

Food consistently super good, and my fave bubble tea in PGH. As of January 2019, they're expanding - it's so much bigger than before! I love shrimp with eggplant, Taiwanese chunk chicken (3 cup chicken), and taro bubble tea.

I got the hong shao niu rou noodle soup at the suggestion of the waitress. (I think that's braised beef noodle soup.) It was an excellent recommendation -- very flavorful broth, tasty noodles, and good beef. A lot of their menu is super American-Chinese, but they have some less Americanized dishes too. I quite liked my dish!

This place is overall great. The service is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is bright/cute, the menu has plenty of authentic Taiwanese dishes in addition to fusion, the place is very clean, and the bubble tea is really good. I'd strongly recommend the duck yolk prawns and the winter melon meat baked dish. The former is basically large, fresh shrimp fried at a high temperature with rich duck yolks and garlic. The latter is a a dish of minced meat baked with winter melon, and it was *really* satisfying. The duck yolk prawns are my favorite and I probably get them 4 out of 5 times I go here. Plenty of good places to eat at in Squirrel Hill, but I'll be coming here again! Would highly recommend.

Went there for smoothie with tapioca. Tastes average and the tapioca size is small. Staffs are well behaved. They are expanding the store. Food taste good. Good place to eat with family and friends. Right on the happening Forbes. Their lunch specials are very reasonable. I would definitely try them out. Attaching the menu with my review.

Rose Tea Cafe has the best Taro Bubble Tea in Pittsburgh. They work hard to make everything very fresh. The staff is friendly and personable and the food is excellent quality. The meals are easy to share, and now with the new expansion, there will be plenty of room to fit all your friends and family.

We just finished a fine meal at Rose Tea Cafe. We had fried dumplings and Taiwanese sausage for appetizers and black pepper chicken with broccoli and beef with mixed vegetables for our mains. The vegetables in both of our mains we're perfectly cooked. Everything was delicious. We have always had great food at Rose Tea Cafe!
