Lovely coffee shop that is open really early so if you're a morning person like me, it's usually super quiet before 8 or 9am. It's also HUGE! Goes back forever and lots of areas for different things - quiet study room, couches, 2 top tables for working or talking and a nice garage door window that opens up on nice days.

This place was so packed and with good reason. The service is amazing here plus the coffee was delicious. 10/10 recommend to anyone coffee lovers. One of the best spots i’ve tried in Pittsburgh. I also got a pastry which was amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back.

I'm guilty of visiting the big chains like anyone else. The many Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or Tim Hortons locations and apps make coffee on the run so convenient. A little too convenient! Sometimes it's refreshing to slow down, relax, and enjoy the coffeehouse atmosphere for a moment. Living in the North Hills we don't have many independent restaurants, but while shopping in Shadyside I finally had the opportunity to try a new place!
After shopping for art supplies nearby at Blick, I noticed a cafe I had passed too many times, yet never stopped at. Today was the day, we artists need caffeine too to get the creativity pumping! On warm days the front garage door windows open to let in fresh air and set the outdoor cafe scene. But this is late October in Pittsburgh, so we're going with cozy indoor vibes. It was somewhat dimly lit with lots of local students typing away and a small line that moved along at a pace just right to admire the interior. I ordered my usual white mocha and it was just the right temp and flavor. Enough excitement to push me to explore more local food joints!

Great place for a hot or cold cup of coffee. Atmosphere is so chill and relaxed. A place for all people to meet and enjoy real good coffee. I would recommend to anyone in Shady Side (Pittsburgh).

Want to give a big shoutout to Coffee Tree Roasters Shadyside, and in particular, Nate and Anna, who helped us pull of an impressively large 42 dozen donuts order with their partner, Oram's for a large volunteer event being hosted. Nate was responsive, timely, and kind in working with us to complete this order. He was prepared and organized with everything we needed at pick up, and was adaptive when it come to our pick-up time needs. We so appreciate Coffee Tree Roasters Shadyside in making this happen! Our volunteers were well fed and happy before heading to their work sites!

I’ve been in a funk all day. Eventually I realized the only thing that would make feel better is an iced latte. The only place near me that was open past 5 was strbks, and that just wasn’t going to cut it. I drove out of my way to coffee tree roasters, having never been there before. To the lovely soul working the bar today, thank you. This is the most perfect iced latte of my life. I’m sorry the jerk in front of me only tipped you 25 cents.

I usually love the coffee and service at my location, but I just got a caramel frozzacino and it was pretty bad. Didn’t have any coffee in it, and the consistency wasn’t frozen. Very disappointed.

Went to the one tonight in bakery square Pittsburgh. The one employee working was fairly rude... looked annoyed, and then only after we ordered and sat down, told us the place was closed. need to train on customer service or hire friendlier people. Was from out of town staying at the hotel and will not go back.

Best coffee, bar none. I live in DC and cannot find coffee beans this good anywhere in the area. I order beans, get friends to deliver to me, when visiting buy pounds and pounds to bring home with me. Love the Italian and the French. Makes the best French press cup of coffee, ever! I wish you'd open a location here. We'd welcome you with open arms. AND, there are tons of Steelers fans in DC already, so you'd fit right in.
