Waffallonia

I'm sure that everything from Waffalonia is fantastic. I wouldn't know because they serve speculoos atop a warm waffle with speculoos ice cream and caramel sauce. I don't know why anyone would ever get anything else but, as the saying goes, I suppose Waffalonia is your oyster. (Waffalonia does not serve oysters. I'm sure that they could and would still find a way to make them fantastic. That said, I'd never know. I'd be off in the corner with my speculoos explosion. I'm sorry, I probably shouldn't have mentioned oysters. They have strawberries, which I'm sure are delicious. Just be true to yourself.)

However, it's important to note that the waffles at Waffallonia lean heavily on the sugary side. While some may appreciate the sweetness, others might find it a bit overpowering. If you have a preference for milder or less sugary flavors, it's worth keeping this in mind when ordering. One aspect that stands out at Waffallonia is the fair pricing. You can enjoy a satisfying waffle without feeling like you've emptied your wallet. The cost is reasonable, considering the quality of the ingredients and the portion sizes.

Fun little place. Limited menu, but that is fine for their modal. Food is delicious, coffee solid, and the price is...a little high, but not insanely so. $10+ per person just to snack. Mostly a grab and go joint with a brilliant portable waffle with brown sugar baked into it, so no syrup is necessary. The perfect waffle on the go!

It's a cute spot for dessert. I got the Bruges waffles, and it was delightful! You can definitely smell the sweet aroma of the waffles drifting out of the store –and I bet it's a marketing plan, to entice customers to come into their place. The only note I would add, if there's not much of a dining area to sit/eat, so that may be difficult for some people.

Authentic & amazingly delicious liege waffles -- tastes just like the ones we got in Belgium a few years ago! Fast and friendly staff. Great location. Go to lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby and just make sure to skip dessert 🤯 so you'll have room in your tummy for these to-die-for treats!

Waffallonia is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with an absolutely amazing menu. The waffles are cooked to perfection, and their pairings of toppings are delicious. I visited with a group of friends, and we all tried the Charleroi, a perfectly golden-brown Belgian waffle topped with Nutella, banana, and strawberries. It was such a simple dish, yet so well-crafted. It was the perfect mid-day treat and will definitely satisfy your sugar cravings. While the indoor seating is limited, the decor inside Waffallonia is also delightful. I love the map of Belgium along the back wall (it makes for a perfect background for photos), and the furniture is simple, yet functional and attractive. The service was also delightful and quick.
