Peppi's - Pittsburgh - Photo album

Fantastic food! Took us about 25 min to get our food, but it was worth the wait. Very nice lady took our order, the chef brought us the food himself and was also incredibly friendly. Food was delicious! We ordered the large Cajun fries, the chicken breast salad, and The Butcher, along with two drink
I used to live in Pennsylvania some years ago, and fell in love with Peppi's. My husband and I were visiting the area, and we couldn't leave without him trying a sub. The service at this location is awesome and the subs are always on point. The seasoned fries and onion rings are a must have! The ran
Ooooooooh, my lord! ABSOLUTELY amazing. Hands down the best sandwiches I've EVER had! The service was great, the atmosphere is more than inviting. The shop is simple & when you walk in, you can TELL....this is IT! We tried 2 different sandwiches & honestly couldn't decide which I liked better. I wis
Fantastic food and service, all in a classic atmosphere. I’m glad they’ve kept so much around, like the landline phones and the decorations on the walls. The food was great, super heavy but beautifully prepared. I’ll be looking forward to my next visit.
Small sub shop with big time flavors. If you want to ruin all other sandwich eating experiences, this is the place to be!! Friendly staff delivering knockout after knockout. Homemade fries cooked just right. The absolute best homemade bread that you can't find anywhere else! Soft to chew, but tough
Ah Peppi's. I was the tad disappointed as I was expecting more as the Santucci was voted (according to their menu) on the "must eat list of Pittsburgh!" The old timey shop was pretty neat and the workers were fast and great! The sandwich itself is a monster but the bread was soggy on the inside. Too
Wow! I am so impressed with the restaurant. First, the staff are so friendly and kind! And it's in interesting area! You can make a day of it and stop by here if you do. The food was delicious and there were very generous portions. It was fairly easy on the wallet to. If I come back to Pittsburgh, I
I thoroughly enjoyed my take out sandwich from Peppi's on Penn Avenue today. The food is consistently delicious with super soft locally made bread. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and fun! I live in the Strip District neighborhood and Peppi's is a great staple for a good sandwich and fries. The food is
Went in to order 2 sandwiches and large fries for dinner to take home. Greeted straight away, was helped with choices and placed order, paid in cash and 10 minutes all was ready. They packed the tomatoes, lettuce, onions and condiments all separate to keep cold items cold and hot items hot. Got hom
Old fashioned, no frills sandwhich shop located in the heart of Pittsburgh's strip district. They have a nice variety of sandwiches to choose from as well as pittsburgh style salads. I decided to try their "now famous steak salad" and it did not disappoint. They use thin shaved steak and top with
Great food. Nice place is you want to eat a big portion of food
I'm not from Pittsburgh, so there a LOT of places competing for my "eat out" dollars and my attention when I am in town. The strip had many places. But let me tell you... This place is a "must have" for me. Good food, good prices, fantastic staff. Solid.
When shopping in the Strip district this is my family's favorite place to grab some authentic Burgh grub, can't say much more! 🖤💛🖤
In my family's opinion, this place is by far the best sandwich place we have experienced in Pittsburgh. The portions are big enough to keep you full for the majority of the day and the taste is excellent. We recommend the joey portobello and the franco, but everything so far has been great
I love Peppi's! It's literally the best sandwich place. I drove my wife and son 4 hours here from DC just to get a sandwich. If you are new to Pittsburgh, let me give you a tip, skip permantis, it pales in comparison to the magnificence of Peppi's.
Quick service, friendly guys at the counter, and above all for the quality and price, a no brainer to go and try them out. I was visiting some family who moved to the city and wanted to try a hoagie from a local stop, got the Sunnyside with the works, and cannot recommend this place more.
Loved our sandwiches! I had the classic cheese steak and my wife had three pizza sandwich. Make sure to bring your appetite! We also loved the fresh cut french fries...
