The Avacdo toast was cute up into triangles, the topping were not skimping, and every bite had them on there.
Th sweet waffles were some of the best waffles we have had. They had just enough sweet to savory balance.
Thirsty? Try the amazing Mimosa flight. Cranberry, grapefruit, original, peach.

We were able to be seated when we arrived. Our waiter was so outgoing and helpful with the menu. We ordered a few drinks and the cauliflower appetizer. The appetizer was huge and tasted very good. I ordered the pork chop and my boyfriend had the rigatoni. My food was delicious. We loved both of our dinners. Too full for dessert.

Met some friends for brunch on a Saturday. Our server Ben was phenomenal. He made excellent recommendations and was very attentive even with such a large crowd of people. I had the classic breakfast. The red skin potatoes were perfect. I wasn't crazy about the Pina coloda mimosa but the original was very nice.
The prices could not have been more reasonable. We had an excellent time and will definitely be back soon.

Amazing food. Kind of pricey but their portions are epically sized! Such good and strong drinks here. The cheese curds are out of this world good and the crispy Brussels sprouts were bomb too. I got the short rib burger medium rare and wow was it excellent. Will def be back! Staff here was so nice and the atmosphere and people had super good vibes!

My wife and I had their brunch for the first time. Service was great and food was as well. The server recommended the Mimosa pitcher and it was definitely worth it. My wife had the avocado toast she said it was the best she's ever had. I had the breakfast egg role (not sure if that's exactly what it's called). It was OK. Bigger than I thought, harder than I thought, it actually was better later that day because it got softer. Overall I highly recommend their brunch.

Amazing drink selection with lots of custom specials! Brunch food options were really good. They have crab, salmon and pork egg benedicts, several types of french toast, chicken and biscuits and chicken and waffles. The bread board appetizer had something for everyone. The bathroom was small, dimly lit and not especially clean. The dining area was very clean.

We arrived at 11 am for the Saturday and Sunday brunch, and with just two of us, we were able to be immediately seated. It was clear that they were busy, but the team was great about taking care of us.
The brunch menu boasted a list of fabulous items so we opted to order three entrees: Chicken on a Biscuit, Sweet Waffle Board, and the Cajun Shrimp & Avocado Benedict. I also ordered two Valentine's Day cocktails: Love Potion and Cupid's Cocktail. Beautifully arranged and an amazing blend of flavors, we could barely discern a favorite dish as we loved them all.
While The Urban Tap definitely feels like a bar (dark lighting), the brunch was absolutely magical, and I highly recommend!
Pro Tips: park around the block on a side street where you don't have to pay for parking & take a walk after brunch

Went for happy hour and the place filled as we were there. Decent food. You know a place is a good time when the beer menu is larger than the food menu. The variety of beverages is also large enough than anyone can find their choice. We had a new bartender and he was very nice.

Urban Tap is a real gem on the South Side. Great food. I think I've had everything on the menu, I am a regular. Never disappointed. Good service, excellent beer selections and nice wines too! My go to place on the South Side. Awesome place to watch the Pens and all sports!

An awesome place for Sunday Brunch. We stop here a couple of times of year and have never been disappointed. I recommend the bison burger with a fried egg on top. You'll love the food.

This is my favorite place in Pittsburgh.
I was there in April of last year and the food was amazing. I especially loved the herb French fries. Best Fries from a restaurant I have ever had. If I am in ever Pittsburgh, this is definitely a place I would go to again.

I was here on a happy hour business meeting.The waitress was kind & pleasant. My concern was I had 2 glasses of wine the course of the night and both times I received glasses with thick lip stains on them. I returned the first one, she gave me a new glass that was clean. When the waitress dropped off my second glass I just dumped it in my glass I just finished because it already took a little long to receive my drink.
