Went there for the first time yesterday with some friends before we all went to the aviary. We easily found on-street parking on the same block.
We were greeted very warmly when we walked in, & offered a menu immediately when we said it was our first time there. The place was packed soon after we arrived for an early lunch, we were served pretty quickly right after being seated. There was enough room for 6 of us in one of the larger booths. I dug the church pew style seats!
I opted for a cheese steak and it was absolutely delicious. We got fries to share and they were great too, and came before all our subs. There was a perfect amount of meat & cheese and the buns were excellent. I'll definitely be back to try an Italian and maybe even a cheeseburger sub. The Cathedral looks good too! My wife got a steak salad and it was huge and also looked delicious.
There are a ton of cool photos and Pittsburgh related artwork around.
The place kind of gives me vibes much like Uncle Sam's or Rudy's.
I feel like we need to plan a trip for lunch here again & Randyland soon!

We got a few different subs to try. They were all delicious. Next time we are in Pittsburgh and want hoagies we are definitely stopping by again. Great sandwiches!

Delicious! My pictured "ultimate" cheesesteak is deceptive, for she tasted 1000% better than she looked. We should know, "love sees with the eyes not the mind and is therefore winged cupid painted blind." Thanks Peppi's!

This was our first stop in town. We had the Santucci, Joey Porter, and #7. Absolute top tier sandwiches.

Serving sizes are large. A large fry can serve 4 people. Excellent taste & tender cheesesteak sandwiches. Plenty of dining area for a big family. Paid parking directly out front, free parking in back. Enter through the correct door, Rookie!

Straight bussin! First time here and it did not disappoint. We got the “Santucci” and the “Arnold Palmer” with an order of fries. Everything was awesome. Executed to perfection from the top down. Price was fair. Will be back again. Check out more of our content @thegrubguys 🤙🏽

We stopped in Peppi’s for a quick bite down on the north side. It did not disappoint. The Cajun fries were perfectly crisp, not too spicy, and served with a big thing of ranch. I got the Mushroom cheese steak and my fiancé got the Big Wheeler. He loved it. Bread was fresh with lots of toppings. They have indoor seating and outside seating in a back alley. Definitely will be back.
