I love Redbeards- staff, menu and overall vibe. Even on a busy show night they make sure everything is just right. Pretzels, salads and burgers are excellent. I take folks visiting Pittsburgh to a great comfortable meal. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing place. Great atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and very nice, he recommended us such a great food - strawberry salad and redbears burger were excellent. The chef and the staff were amazing. Credits goes to an Asian server - thank you. next time i'm in pittsburgh i'll definitely go here.

Been here twice since moving to Pittsburgh and the food has been amazing and so has the staff. Fun bar type atmosphere with dining in the back and the outside bar and patio is great. Try the Turkey Rachel and truffle fries…yum!

Nice downtown Pittsburgh bar restaurant. Has always been well kept every time I have been in. If memory serves they have always had good hot wings and good food in general. Was here with a friend after walking around Picklesburgh. Had a couple Cokes at the bar, my friend had a beer. All in all a nice casual bar restaurant downtown. I will happily return when in the area. 👍

We wandered until we found Redbeard's. The food was fine the drinks were real, real good and the service was wonderful. If you're headed to Pittsburgh, check this place out! We had the nachos with chicken and it was tasty but the drink, I think it was the Full Count, was legit!

Service: 4 Food: 4 Ambiance: 4 Cleanliness: 4 We were wandering Downtown Pittsburgh looking for a place to grab an early dinner. We struck out at 3 other places on the same block (didn't have reservations) and ended up here as they were able to sit out table of 4 easily. Our server was no nonsense but friendly enough. Drinks came out fast and food did not take long either. We ordered: Perogies: App comes with 4 and they were hot, crispy on the outside with soft warm potatoes on the inside. Get it with a side of sour cream. Fish Sandwich: (pictured) this sandwich was huge!! The picture only shows half a sandwich as I forgot to take a picture before sharing half with my kid. The fish was crispy and flaky. Did not feel greasy at all! Hot Nashville Chicken: (pictured) huge piece of friend chicken with a peppery spice. Served open faced on a thick slice of toast. Burger: Nicely cooked, even with it being done Med-well, the burger was thick and juicy. Wings: lots of flavors to choose from... Bummed they didn't have the Honey Habenero. Garlic Parm and Redbeards sauces were good! Overall a solid 4 star restaurant for bar and American fare (and one with probably the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a sports bar!)

Redbeard's was an awesome experience. We were with a group in the reserved area upstairs. They manage to focus on standard bar fare without too many frills to deliver just darn good food. There's nothing wrong with jazzed up and fancy food, but sometimes you just want a solidly good burger or piece of Chicken and Redbeard's delivers. In addition to good food the drink selections are decently sized and well rounded and the pricing is fair. Service was also excellent. Our son spilled his Froot Loops he brought to snack on and one of the employ offered to call the 7/11 across the street to see if they had more!! We hope to return to this location soon.

Delicious food, great seating outside, very nice owner, and great service. We tried the burgers, Fuji apple salad, and gyro. Some draft beers, fried pickles and poutine. Worth checking it out and enjoy their outdoor seating!

Really wasn't expecting much but was surprised by how good the food was. Definitely get the wings. We tried the firecracker sauce and wasn't disappointed. The surfboard fries were also good. We got the chicken on the hill. There were huge chunks of blue cheese and the waffle fries weren't soggy. Good for sharing. We also got the hot chicken and taco salad. Our server Jordan was very nice and even wiped off our wet table so we could sit outside.
