I came in one evening for dinner… they were moderately busy, but I found a spot at the bar. Service was quick and they have a decent menu filled with the typical Mexican-American dishes. They start with chips & salsa and I asked if they had a hot salsa, which they brought me. The hot was very flavorful, but he didn’t tell me it was $1.99; I found out when I got the bill. I opted for their pick three and selected a beef burrito, a roja enchilada with chicken and a verde enchilada with beef. The beef was decent, it’s ground and didn’t have a lot of flavor, but it was fine. The chicken was better, even though it didn’t have much flavor also, it had a better texture. The burrito was decent, but the enchiladas were much better. The tomato sauce on the burrito tasted almost like an Italian tomato sauce. Overall, It was decent.

Had a great time! Pictured is a combo I ordered: Southern Tamale + Northern tamale + Chile relleno The chile relleno was hands down my favorite one (first plate). The banana leaf southern tamal (left) was so much tastier than the northern corn leaf one (right), but both were really good. The red rice and refried beans were on point. I had an horchata drink which was incredibly authentic and delicious! We had hot corn chips (totopos) with mild red salsa while deciding what to order. The staff was super friendly, and they had excellent Spanish! a pleasant surprise. The whole vibe and music made it feel so authentic. I wish I had taken more pictures

The food is very good, very tasty. Many choices. Service was really good, Juan took good care of us. Late lunch on a Sunday that the Steelers were playing, we had this place almost to ourselves. The separate bar area has TVs you can watch the games. Would definitely visit again. Prices were fair for the food received. Highly recommend enchiladas verde and the fried ice cream!! Tip: The parking is free on Sunday.

Our favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. Offering a relaxed and cozy environment, you’ll immediately feel at home! The drowned burrito is the go to and is so tasty. They offer several fillings and multiple dishes. Salsa and queso are excellent! They also have an open bar! 10/10 and highly recommend! We do both dine in and to go, always hot and fresh!

We went around 5:45pm it was pretty crowded. We were seated immediately & a couple minutes later we were given tortilla chips & salsa while we decided what to order. We immediately put in an appetizer order for the grilled chicken nachos(apps are 1/2 off for happy hour:) the nacho were delicious, fresh & flavorful! I ordered the fajitas with the chicken, shrimp, steak & chorizo. Huge portion & delicious! My husband ordered the grilled burrito with steak, he really enjoyed it. It also cam with a little side salad that was so refreshing & citrusy. The manager came & checked on us a few times also. This place is great we will be back very soon!

Best Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh. Hands down. I have been going to the location in Mt. Lebanon for a few years now. Meand my wife are foodies and we love trying different places. But for Mexican food, no other place we have gone to matches the quality and affordability as Totopo. The enchiladas my favorite but on this recent trip I got the fish tacos and I will be getting those again for sure. This place is a must try.

👌 ❤️ Totopo is perfect! I recommend dining in. I always get the same thing: shrimp enchiladas which are a 10 and my fiancé gets the Topochanga burrito. Delicious!

Great experience! First time here, it's Taco Tuesday AND it's Happy Hour. Look out! I had 2 tacos, steak and carnitas. They were pretty good, I like the shells. Steak and pork were well cooked. Guac was good. I did manage a photo of the chips and salsa, and one of my, um.. 2 margaritas.. come and see!
