Ribcrib Bbq

This place is always busy. After eating here I don't understand the hype. I got ribs potato salad and baked beans. The ribs weren't very tender and they weren't very hard they were kind of in between. They weren't very meaty either. The baked beans were okay the potato salad was pretty good. They were out of pulled pork when I got there at about 7 at night.

Food was delicious unfortunately for the price there was very little of it. I ordered a family bundle that I was told feeds 4-6 I ordered an additional slab of ribs so there was no problem there but the sides....REALLY the family size containers are smaller than KFC family size 4-6?? This was barely enough for my 12 and 9 year old . Then they load a container of banana peppers and ?? Guess that's what I got charged for since I got an over abundance that I never requested and went directly in the trash. For 80 bucks I expected better, much better. DINE IN, so you don't get ripped off

The waitress was really nice, however we all joked we ate at the crib because they were out of ribs, yep, rib crib was out of ribs along with sliced brisket. It was a major disappointment to a daughter who was really looking forward to ribs and so now I get to make ribs this weekend. It was a nice place and the waitress did a great job of handling it, she saved the day for the "crib".

Staff did not care about service. On Father’s Day they were out of several staple items, but would not allow substitutions on the mixed meat platters. Without a substitution, this limited selections by a great deal. The establishment was not busy, less than 50 percent capacity. The greeter was complaining about his job and duties. Where they were obviously running out of food, portions were less than what is anticipated. What food we got was good though.

Restaurant was cleaning the bathrooms looked good. The staff was friendly and the service was good, although we were there when it was dead. 3 pm. My only criticism would be that the portions are pretty small. I bought a two meat combo. Not the lunch special. Two ribs maybe five slices of brisket. That cost $15. That's a little high for Pittsburg Kansas. They had a nice looking bar, although I did not drink. I would definitely go back and I would recommend it.
