I just had the most bizarre experience. I called in to order soup and when I got there the woman behind the counter refused to give it to me because I was paying with a card and it was under the minimum balance. I would have paid more but she just kept shaking her head and only getting to other people. I didn’t get any soup. :( If you’re calling in like I did, and they didn’t tell you anything about a minimum balance (like they didn’t tell me), it’s $9. Also if you get there and are willing to over pay so you can get your soup, that won’t work either. Read this before you call an order in and save yourself a trip!

Good enough food. Well packaged, hot, generous portions. Quality is decent - average strip mall take out. Service is fast!

Just ordered Sweet & Sour combo at 9 pm....and it's just as excellent quality as if it was at lunch hour. I have been a patron of China Inn for many many years without one complaint. I have always had excellent service & food here. And the prices are excellent for the amount of food received. I recommend it to all my friends coming into Pittsboro.

We called in our order and picked it up. It was ready when we came to pick it up. Delicious beef and broccoli. Egg rolls are very tasty tonight!

I have to say, this little kitchen located literally within a tiny corner of the shopping center offers some excellent food.
My choice from the menu was a simple but filling fare of stuffed and fried won tons. Pork was spiced perfectly and the breaded wrapping had been browned exactly to my taste with a great soy based sauce that augmented - not overpowered - the stickers. If you have but a simple appetite for something far better than the standard fast food flingers, I suggest an order of these.
For newbies, the place is primarily a cookery though a few two-person tables are available. The people have been from neutral to nice and the menu is standard Chinese items, extra spicy upon request.
It suffices nicely for little Pboro and it's always fun to watch the cooking techniques.
Give 'em a try!

This was probably the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been in. Every surface seemed dirty, especially those in the kitchen. When I ordered my food over the phone, I specifically said no fried rice, but when I came to pick up the order, I looked at the receipt, and the first listing was fried rice. I told the cashier lady about it, referring back to our phone conversation, but she laughed in my face and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and that everything on the menu came with friend rice on the side, no exceptions. She also told me that since I wasn’t Chinese, I wouldn’t understand what proper Chinese food consisted of and to never come back because I insulted her heritage by not ordering fried rice.

This has been my family's favorite Chinese place in the world since I was a child. Their hot and sour soup is perfect and the Kung Pao chicken is overflowing with traditional veggies and flavor. Highly recommend.

Sesame Chicken was nearly inedible- tough, dry and sticky. Fried rice is steamed rice with too much salt and yellow dye.
