D&t Restaurant

We both ordered their excellent large shrimp, hushpuppies, cole slaw and fries dinner! The folks that took our order and cooked were helpful, patient & kind. Food was served super hot, temperature-wise, and extra delicious! We've decided to make this little gem a monthly date! ...look forward to our next visit!

I love this little gem of a restaurant. Their seafood platter was very good. I've also had their hamburgers (they're like old-style truck stop burgers), but my absolute favorite is their chicken livers. I've stopped their at least once a week for their chicken liver meal (fried chicken livers, fries, coleslaw & hushpuppies). For less than $9 you can't beat the price.

Sent hubby out to pick up some dinner, but the place we wanted was closed as it was Christmas Eve., so he swung in here and we are so glad he did! By the looks of it, you wouldn’t expect much. Wow, my son and I agree, it’s some of the best fried catfish we’ve ever eaten! And, it’s consistently excellent, haven’t had a disappointing meal yet! Also, their boiled shrimp are excellent, as well as their other fried seafood (shrimp, oysters). The only reason I took off a star was because the choice of sides with a fried fish plate is limited and the crinkle cut fries aren’t the best.
