Waffle House

This was by far the worst Waffle House that I've ever visited. 1st, it was a Thursday morning and pretty empty and we seated ourselves and almost 15 minutes passed before anyone said good morning. Then when the young man comes to take our order, he is mumbling behind his mask, and I have to ask him to repeat himself 3 times. So, I finally order the All-Start with double waffle (mind you we haven't got our coffee yet). So, after a while the waffles arrive and no problems with them. Halfway thru our waffles we notice the rest of the order hasn't come. We eventually finish our waffles and still no eggs, grits, bacon, toast and no refill of the coffee. Now the whole time we're eating the waiter hasn't come to check on us, nor refill our coffee and then when he sees the look on our faces, he ask the cook about the rest of our order and he and the cook begin to argue because the cook said he never called out the order. Finally after 20 minutes of finishing our waffles and still no coffee refill, the waiter brings the rest of the food over and just places it on the table, no sorry, no apologies and just walks away. I will never and I mean never visit this Waffle House again.

The waitress was amazing no doubt but she was not the cook. As a waffle house regular this morning they made me the poorest grits ever tasted, watering and uncooked almost felt intentional. It not easy for me to leave this comment here but want to say this; we don't go out of way to walk into a place and make an order and got to feel so unsatisfy when certain are paying with money hardly make. Show love or appreciation it only common sense or let someone with the right credentials do it. #elevateself

Walked in an immediately noticed how disgusting this place is. All of the tables were dirty and piled with dirty dishes. The bar area was dirty and also hadn't been wiped down. The floor had chunks of food everywhere where they carelessly wiped the tables off. Two of the four staff members were on their phones as I stood there. I walked out after a few moments. If you're in the area, just stay in the same shopping center and visit Metro Diner. They have an excellent breakfast, great prices and are always clean.
