Metro Diner located at 8334 Pineville-Matthews Rd #110, Charlotte, NC 28226 (near Staples/Walmart in their Shopping Center) is a great Diner! I had the Chicken and Waffles and both were fabulous. Best Fried Chicken in the area! Great flavor, perfectly seasoned and crispy. My wife had the eggs over medium which needed to be cooked more - not just longer on one side, but evenly cooked to not overcook one side. Service was friendly and quick. Prices were good too!

The service we received from Tia was superb. She has a winning personality. It's been a long time since we've had the attention to detail that she provided. She was very professional and friendly. When the food wasn't to our liking, Tia asked, "what can we do to make it right," that spoke volumes to us. I wish I had an open position with my company to give her a job! We need more servers like her. Thank you Tia for making our dining experience one we'll never forget.

Our server Marcy was the best. We never had to ask for anything. Very friendly and efficient. She knows what she is doing. This was our first time to this location. The breakfast and service we got can’t be improved. So friendly and quick. We will definitely be back.

Very good food and the waitress was very nice, but she was not too attentive. I think maybe she was given our table last minute and was a little overwhelmed. She was a still as sweet as can be and would definitely come back.
I got the pumpkin spice waffle with hash browns, bacon and eggs. Great food.

My wife and I absolutely LOVE eating at the Metro Diner. We have always had great service and amazing food. I highly recommend the Fried Chicken Benedict. Our last experience was just as great as all previous visits. Our server Destiny was attentive and made us feel welcomed and appreciated.
If you are like us and love to support small businesses then skip the chain restaurants and experience the amazing food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere at the Metro Diner.
